I have been running in Topos for 4 years, maybe 5 now. Magnifly and Ultrafly are my go-to shoes, have 4 of each. And a pair of Mtn Racers, two Ultraventures, ST2, and Revive. Love the fit, the feel, the comfort all around. Unfortunately this fit and feel does not come through in the new Cyclone. The shoe is too narrow and too long. Its for sure light and the cushion feels great. But the squished midfoot and long, narrow toe box doesn't work for me. I'll stick with Ultrafly for quick runs. If you don't have to worry about truly wide feet, give it a shot.

I've been using these in training trying to set a 10K PR and I have to say that I LOVE running in them. Straight out of the box, when I saw how thin the tread was I thought I would wear through it in no time but is has held up spectacularly well. Even after 180+ miles on them, I can still see the Topo logo and even the texturing on the majority of the sole. I can't say the same about the uppers however. Both shoes developed holes on the inner part of the shoe the first month (< 100 miles)

Seems like the insole wore through the sides of the shoe. I estimated a maximum of 200 miles on these, maybe 250 including walking. By comparison, I don't believe I've ever had road shoes fail before 300+ miles, since they aren't abused like my trail runners are. Fit was odd. The way the insole overflows up the side of the shoe, it seems like the shoe is more narrow, and maybe only wider feet will tear them up. On the plus side, the shoe did feel fast. I enjoyed my minimal speedwork in them. But between the look/color and durability, I can't buy them again. I could see paying $120 max for an 8 month shoe.

These shoes are very comfortable, and have a great deal of support. They are not true to size and fit about a half size too big. The fabric ripped on the left shoe, inside at the seam to the sole.

Great shoe ... but...I have normal to high arches but find that the medial arch support in this shoe is intrusive near the back of my arch. I've never had this issue with any other brand. It may be that the arch support combined with the soft cushion creates a higher arch than intended. Otherwise, I love the shoe and would buy more pairs. As it is, it is ok for short runs but after prolonged wear, my arch gets really irritated.

Daily trainers (although run about 3x/week). mixed surface: some gravel, some paved. They were comfortable right out of the box. Have done runs up to 20-miles in length with no issues.... except... I must admit I am disappointed that both shoes have developed substantial tears on the medial aspect, near the MTP/great toe. I do have 312 miles on them, per Strava, but if I'm honest, I expect a bit more durability.

Dear Topo...please don't continue to make your toe boxs more roomy!! You're broaching on ruining a perfect fit. I got introduced to Topo with the Fli-Lyte 2, Fli-Lyte 3, and Magnafly 4, which IMHO, had a perfect toe box. The Cyclone 2's toe box is definitely wider and dare I say unfortunately similar to another shoe company who's name begins with "A". :( I fell in love with Topo because their toe box was slimmer and better fitting, but if this trend keeps up I may need to regrettably search for a new shoe.

I have only worn my shoes maybe 30-40 days of owning them (9 mo). The material is very cheap and ripped right through... from walking. The foam around the sole just rips right off. The toe box is a good width. They do not have the cushion or arch support I was told they had.

Needs padding at the back of heel. Small bumps of glue have worn sores into the backs of my heels.

I was really hoping the shoe would work for me. I loved the fit and its feather-lightness, but after a handful of runs I was experiencing some significant hip and abdominal pain. I think the Pebax was just too different.

I ordered online, and purchased non-returnable close-outs, so totally my fault for not checking that the footbed was wide enough for orthotic inserts. Probably not the brand for me.

A shoe I'll never get to experience because a men's size 8 is the smallest you offer, like a good majority of your selection... I wear size 7.

I had one pair of these and they blew out at around 60 total miles and the time they felt tight and not overly comfortable compared to my Topo Athletic Ultrafly 4. I was able to utilize the warranty on them to get a replacement pair. The first run in my second pair I took them off 1/2 mile from my house because they were so uncomfortable. In the end I had a quarter size blister on the bottom of each foot. I have enjoyed my past shoes from Topo but these are a massive miss.

Disappointing shoe company. Mesh started ripping on one of the shoes, and there's a clear difference between the two shoes I got in the mesh. Even though I just ran a 100k in them Topo says it's not a fault of the shoes. Will not be buying Topo again..
