Returned this vest as a medium was quite baggy on my medium frame and the material seemed very flimsy. Even a good fit would not have held up well or offered much warmth.

I know better! I didn't read the description. I love the color and weight and fit. I HATE that the pockets are so shallow and no zipper ! Who makes nothing without zipper pockets! Can't keep anything in them. Very disappointed I didn't catch that and more disappointed that LLB sold it.

I would never had bought this had I known the material was so light weight. I would never wear this outside, and wearing inside has its limits also.

Warm and soft, and lives up to its name being extra light, but a bit too long for a Medium size and the bottom is very loose without any adjustment.

I have 2 airlight products, both small, and the fit is great. This vest was as big as a tent..142lbs/67". Either mismarked or the template has gotten larger for a bigger small person. I returned the vest.

It's "see-through". The item does say "Airlight"; but I still expect a vest to be a warming layer. But this is as light as an old T-shirt.

The item I received was not what I ordered. I ordered a LL. Bean Airlight Vest, but what came was an Airlight jacket with long. sleeves.

Too lightweight. More like a shirt, not a vest. Retuned.

This was purchased for my birthday by my wife. WRONG color was shipped. This was sent back. Now it was out of stock and I wss told backordered for 4 months. The fit was also too small. I was told another wss also out of stock which was incirrect. I called back and asked for the other color which was in stock. This time instead of an exchange this was charged to my mastercard without my permission. I had used my bean bucks and those had apparently dissapeared too. I had ordeted 4 items. All are being returned which I am certain will also cause a lot of problems. Next time I am ordering from Kohls. Not only is it about 1/3 the price of LL Bean, the quality us much better.

Long was too big. Returned for regular XL and sold out. Bean canceled order.

The vest material is so thin. It really doesn't offer much help in warmth, not a windbreaker either. It looks nice. You get two pockets.

Material is so thin you might as well wear nothing. Size recommendation from LL bean was very bad, the vest fit about as well as a family sized tent.

I ordered this vest for Christmas and it was too small and returned it. I was told wait three weeks to do Ed's e change. Received a email saying I would receive the item until May 2024. Then 10minutes later I am to rate LL Bean. I thought this Company was a had great customer service . Evidently it does not. No hurry to please a customer. I'll take my business elsewhere. I will relate to my friends & family too. Thanks but no thanks unsatisfied customer.

Received the vest yesterday and because I recently got my shingles vaccine I have been feeling under the weather, I put on the vest to wear around the house. I sat on my office chair, the dinner table and my couch all day, never left the house. At the end of the day there was a huge pull in the material. I never left the house yesterday and after one day there is a pull already?! How will this vest survive hikes into the woods or being out and about in the "urban jungle" after a year? I pay the extra money for L.L. Bean products because I know if I get something from them it will last years and still look good. This kind of poor quality is unexpected from L.L. Bean. I have been running into products from them that have been letting me down more and more recently. This is a concerning trend that I starting to see. I hope this isn't a purposeful, strategic, future direction for them to cheapen their products in order to save money and increase profit. I will unfortunately have to return this vest. Was it poor quality or was it this way when I received it? I distinctly remember thinking to myself "I better check this over before cutting off the labels so there are no surprises" and found nothing based on a cursory looking over. I liked the vest while I had it for a day. I don't know if I will just get another one or get something different. Either way, I'm feeling let down.
