Bought for myself. Very light but warm. Makes a nice layer under an outer coat and looks stylish on it's own around the house.

The best light weight vest. It's perfect for layering.

This is an active insulation piece, not a sit in the cold doing nothing piece. It will allow perspiration to evaporate quickly (that's why you can see light through it) preventing you from becoming cold and wet. If you put a wind shirt over it, it's warm for its weight. No fleece is breathable and wind proof. The front pockets are for hand warming, not for your phone - the material is too light and no zips. The pocket lining forms two internal stow pockets for stowing gloves/hat. The fit is versatile, I'd take it backpacking and vacationing, it's not form fitting. My men's medium weighted 8.0 oz.

I wanted something lightweight to wear around the house and this fits the bill perfectly. It's just enough warm to make a difference but not so much that I want to take it off after a few minutes.

got this for my 62 year old son who is 5'10" and weighs 165lbs. The medium regular fits him perfectly and it is light but warm and he loves wearing it for golf as his arms are free. Color is as shown and is a lovely slate gray with bronze colored piping...very attractive.

I've had this about a year now, and it's great. It works particularly well if you don't live in a frigid climate; this is perfect for layering during winters here in California. A nice alternative to bulky vests. Sorry, but I had my dry cleaners take the logo off the front.

I love these air light vests!! I only wish they were available in additional colors! They are just enough to take the chill off when it's cool inside or out and their classic style makes them go well with anything. I highly recommend this as an addition to your L.L. Bean gear,

Love this vest! Comfortable and adds a layer of warmth but not too much.

Bought one in black and followed up with the tan color when I found myself wearing it on repeat. Good vest for everyday office use, with a button down or golf shirt and khakis / 5 pockets / jeans depending on the day and weather. Easy care - machine wash and drip dries quick. Trimmer fit complements office wear well without looking like it belongs on the hiking trail or golf course, though it could go there too! Price is a better value and quality is comparable to competing brands. The length is just long enough at 5'9" with a long torso, so anyone on the border between a Regular and Tall size or who likes a little extra coverage may prefer the Tall.
