Jeans said they are slim type. Not as slim as I expected, even after a few washes.

The fit is nothing like it used to be. Sizing varies a lot more now. Not consistent.

I have the brown pair with the stretch waste band. I don't particularly like pants that sit below the waistline, however I don't have much choice when it comes to finding pants with 36 inches in length. Not being able to go a store and find the right fit. Regular Jeans I take 36 inch waist. I had to return this pair for a 35 inch waist. Its possible that even a 34 waist in this style might work for me.

Quality overall is what I would expect from LL Bean. I own tons of Bean clothing and many pairs of shoes/boots, too. For the most part, I'm always happy with the things I buy from Bean. I've become accustomed to receiving great stuff. With these "slim-fit" jeans, though well-made as usual, I was expecting a bit slimmer looking design. I already had a pair of classic-fit Beanflex jean, so I thought I'd try something slimmer this time. So, I ordered the slim-fit version and was surprised they seemed actually a bit wider in the hips and thighs than my classics fit. I guess I'm confused by the description. In my opinion, they aren't very slim. But, I'll wear them anyway.

Wish you made lined jeans in slim fit. Dress pants n slim fit. Men that have small butts and thin legs need more choices.

Jeans are excellent quality, a bit long and slim fit leg is wider than it use to be, that is why a 4 rating and not a 5

The wrong sized pants were sent. I ordered a 32 and a 30 was sent.

It's hard to find a 29 inseam for men, so I took a chance on these Bean jeans. Fit was good!

The jeans are great although a little big at my regular size. I bought my size and found that with the flex material they were too big and didn't stay up, so I ordered the next size down and they are perfect. They are flex material and don't act like regular denim, just a note.

Nice jeans, slight stiffness to start out, I'm sure after a washing they will be just fine. Just a tad high on the wastline fir me, but still a decent fit.

I bought a pair of 36" x 30" stretch slim fit jeans that I love, great fit, so I bought a second pair, unfortunately they aren't the same cut, a lot baggier in the seat.

Product had a slightly rough surface on one thigh.
It fits well and is supremely comfortable though.

Great jeans in black, very comfortable with the bit of stretch. But the "Dark Vintage" blue color jeans came with an oily, chemical smell. On the advice of customer service, I washed them with baking soda as well as laundry detergent, at a laundromat so it would not smell up our washer and dryer at home, but the smell remained. It diminished from hanging them in the garage for a week, then diminished further from another wash with baking soda and detergent. I can finally wear them without noticing any smell. I love these jeans, but, really?

My husband has purchased and worn these jeans for years ... probably as long as they've been offered. This last order was returned: the width of the legs was easily 3 inches wider than the previous purchase of these exact same jeans and the fit in the seat was too loose. And yes - I double checked and I ordered the exact same style and size. Sadly returned.

Still a comfortable fit but the last two pairs are stiffer and not as pliable as previous BeanFlex jeans.

Please offer these in Deep Loden and I will buy more. A 33" inseam would be great too.

I really like the fit and the quality and everything else, but everythng is being squished and pressed on, its almost as if people lacking that equipment made these jeans. Levis and others make room but these have no extra room and things are constantly being pressed on. I switch between these jeans and Levis and these have way less room in the crotch. So much so that these LL Bean jeans will be backup jeans when my Levis aren't available to wear.

I have several pairs of these jeans in the classic fit, but with my frame there is too much material in the seat. Therefore I ordered the slim-fit style this time. However, I will have to exchange these jeans for the next smaller waist size since I miscalculated the fit. These jeans are really good for 3 seasons, but a little bit warm in hot summer months. They don't breathe quite as well as 100% cotton.

Jeans feel great on, but I'm a short guy and could not get the 28 length that i need. This also causes them to bag out in the crotch and butt. Too much Alterations required for expensive jeans.

Love the jeans. Seem to run long compared to other brands. Would buy again, but would take length into consideration.

I am 6'4" about 194 pounds. I have almost no butt, the issue I have with pants and jeans is they slip down, so I need to keep pulling them up. The only solution is to over tighten my belt. So far the BeanFlex Jeans have stay up better then Lee's and Levi's jeans without having to over-tighten my belt. The cut fits my legs and they are light in weight. They look good on me. In Lee's and Levi's I would order 34x36 the pair of BeanFlex Jeans I ordered are 33x34. They are as long as the other brands 36" inseam. I might even have fit into a 32x34. These jeans are made in Mexico, which is better than somewhere in Asia.

Bought these jeans over a month ago and I love them. They fit well, are comfortable, and soft. I will likely order another pair.

I purchased 34x30 which is my normal size in jeans. These were way too big in the waist and the legs - for a slim fit jean. I wish I had returned them immediately since they are just too big in the waist and legs. Even with a belt, they were constantly falling down on me. I subsequently ordered a 33x30 and that size was much better for my waist. The legs are still baggy - more baggy than I expected for a "slim fit" jean. There is a decent amount of stretch in them as well.
