Pricey, lose fitting and too many pockets. Rather see less pockets and a tighter fit for activity,

Shorts fit a bit small. For the quality and material they are overpriced.

Elastic waist had too little elasticity so they slid down too easily. Had to rely completely on drawstring.

I loved these the first couple of times I wore them. They're comfortable and fit well. However, by the 3rd or 4th wear I noticed loose strands of fabric hanging off the shorts where the material was starting to come apart in at least four different places on the shorts. Disappointing quality compared with what I've become used to with the brand. What's worse, the employee at the register questioned whether I was telling the truth when I asked to return them. I've loved LL Bean for years but this experience left a very sour taste.
