Nicely made shorts for around the house. Very comfortable and easy to care for.

Excellent cotton beach walk shorts .. traditional styling, medium weight fabric .. draw string on the outside of waistband is much more comfortable .. perfect.

When I got these shorts, I expected to be narrowly missed by flying objects, like the shorts would help me get out of the way and protect myself from various and sundry objects and even animals. I was looking forward to the stepped-up safety in my life after having been repeatedly injured and even concussed over the years. Turns out I misread the product name. These weren't "duck" shortsthey're "dock" shorts. I feel a little embarrassed and a whole lot less at ease in my daily action-packed life. But the shorts are working out fine. I kind of like them.

These shorts sure are turning heads. My wife loves the fit and the length.

These shorts are very comfortable. The elastic & drawstring waist makes it easy to tighten or loosen the waist as needed. The cotton is lightweight and soft. The pockets are reasonably deep. I wish I could replace all my shorts with these.

Fit and quality was what I have come to expect from years of purchasing L.L.Bean clothing.

Lightweight material that look nice for casual shorts.

I started wearing this style shorts back in the 80's. Due to health issues quit wearing for about ten years. I bought two pair this past fall when they were on sale. I checked for fit then packed them away till spring. Fit is the same, no wrinkles and I end up wearing them just about everywhere. Now 6'-1" and weigh 191 lbs. Large fits fine. Like them so much that I haven't worn my chino shorts this summer.

To be better you should add a zipper and the drawstrings need to be replaced about three times during the lifetime of the shorts

Well made khaki shorts with a draw string waist. Fit well and no shrinkage when washed.

It's always nerve-racking for me to buy certain types of clothes (shorts and shoes) online because, invariably, they don't fit, and I have to go through the hassle of returning them. Not this time! I was very pleasantly surprised that the shorts fit perfectly, even after being washed (I don't put them in the dryer - I put them on a drying rack.) I bought the blue and light brown/tan ones, and blue is my favorite color of the two. I'm glad I took the chance and ordered them. LL Bean comes through, once again!
