Received 2 reg medium as gifts and they were huge!!! Wish we could return them but didn't get a receipt.

I am afraid I will no longer buy men's tee shirts from LL Bean - after 40 years. Every time I wash them I get large "grease" like "stains." I have tried everything under the sun to prevent this -every water termperature, drying temperature, detergent, you name it. The only thing that works is pouring detergent on and rubbing it on the "stain," letting it sit for 24 hours, then rewashing. This wastes water, energy and detergent. This has been happening for years. I have gifted shirts to my son-in-law and the same thing happens with these shirts - in another state! I have been putting up with it for years as I could not find the quality in anyother shirt - but now have. I am so sorry that LL Bean does not have the quality merchandise it once did.

The sizes are very unpredictable - we sent it back for exchange - nothing has been received as of yet.

The fit was not correct based on the measurements on the website material is great.

Llbean is all over the place with siziing and returning somethings is a pain. Also super expensive. Runs way big

The shirts shrink almost a full size on the first wash.

I have five or six of these and after a few washings the collars get wrinkly out of shape. Not LL Bean quality

I have been purchasing these shirts for years. However, lately I have had to return them twice over the past 6 mos because even though I wear a reg medium the current batch is 2 inches longer and about 2 inches wider. Too large. Too bad I can't shrink them down. I tried a small and it is too small so I am left without being able to replace my existing reg medium shirts. Inconsistent sizing from foreign manufacturers.

The shirt fit well and was well made, but the fabric coating to make it wrinkle free also made it nonabsorbent. I wore it while working out and the sweat beaded up on the inside of the shirt. Cold, wet and clinging as I moved - very uncomfortable. Shirt is OK for casual wear, but not good for exercise or physical work.

I ordered a T-shirt with a pocket, but to my disappointment the one sent lacked one. I had specifically asked for a pocketed T-shirt (and would prefer it to be a V-neck) but LL Beans apparently no longer consider customer satisfaction important. This was not an unreasonable request. They have all sorts of quirky products in their repertoire.

I ordered this T shirt in a medium based on the fact that a) that's what was indicated by LL Bean's sizing chart and b) all my other T shirts are either a medium or a large. When it arrived, the T shirt was absolutely huge -- at least one size bigger than any LARGE shirt I already own. After discussing this by phone with a nice customer service person, I returned it with a letter explaining the problem and requesting that I not be charged for the return shipping if in fact there was some sizing error with this particular shirt. In fact I was charged for shipping both ways, with no further acknowledgment of the problem. Not a lot of money was involved, but it's a very disappointing experience. It's hard for me to see how the company will continue to compete with the big online retailers.

Didn't fit right although it's still a nice shirt although wished it fit I had to return it

I bought this and a long sleeve version based on the many positive reviews. Maybe if you wear a small size, they are okay. They certainly seem like well made shirts of nice material, but I felt like I was being strangled. I have never tried a shirt with such a constricting neck. Now I have to pay $6.50 to return it for the privilege of just trying on one of their poorly cut shirts. It doesn't make me want to order from LL Bean again.

I made a mistake in ordering 2 xxl and 1 xxl tall, when I meant to order 3 xxl. When I called in The xxl tall did not fit and to exchange I was required to pay $6 shipping I decided to give the xxl tall to charity, keep the 2 xxl and quit ordering from L.L.Bean.

poor quality, go for the Pima T. I'm retuning this but have to pay for return shipping

The shirt I ordered was a 2xxl Tall and when I tried it on it felt like a Large. Something went wring in process. LLbean will charge me to either send back or I have to drive 35 minutes on way to return/exchange at store. Not happy

I have bought several of these shirts. Most of them have floppy "bacon" collars after a few washes. Everything about these shirts is otherwise great. However, you can't wear them "out" or anyway that the collar shows. Bean just says it doesn't happen.

Completely mis-sized. I got a medium and it's loose on a friend who wears a large.

The stain treatment does not allow the shirts to absorb ANY sweat. It feels weirdly clammy inside the shirts when I exercise, like wearing a plastic bag. Really want to like the shirts because I love the colors and fit. The return process is too complicated to bother with. I happily wear Bean clothes pretty much every day. First time I've been seriously disappointed.

I noted that the shirt is made of good workmanship but the t shirt is rounded neck instead of v neck. will return.

I ordered this without realizing the return policy makes you pay to return anything - since I don't have an LL Bean anywhere near wouldn't want to go into a mall right now during a pandemic, I thought online ordering would make sense! Unfortunately I received this T-shirt and found it to be incredible boxy. I usually wear a medium, and I'm at the top of the normal BMI for my height - this shirt still managed to be so wide that it looked ridiculous. Thinking it would be no problem to return and order something else, I find out it costs 30% of the cost of the shirt just to return it. Thanks LL Bean!

I've purchased six in different colors. The neckline on these tees stretched out just after the one year guarantee. They look awful. Very disappointed. The color and shape of the rest of tee is good.

The Neckline is the problem. The neckline is so wide it looks like a mock turtle neck. Customer service claim that the necklines are of an inch wide. I have had some of these shirts come in with to over 1-inch wide necklines. This is why there are numerous complaints about the necklines rolling over and being too tight. Not all of the t-shirts come this way. The t-shirt fits correctly when the neck line is no more than 1/2 inch wide. These t-shirts are the best t-shirts on the market when the necklines are 1/2 inch or less.

I ordered a medium and even though I received a medium, it fits like an extra large. Had to return.

I have worn LL Bean unshrinkable tees for twenty years. This year, my size small tees are two inches wider throughout the body and two inches larger at the sleeve hole and sleeve hem. Why did they change this previously reliable garment? I will return mine, and, as Bean does not sell size extra small, must look elsewhere for teeshirts. Bummer!
