My husband was very happy with this shirt. Keep in mind it is heavier than most of the flannel shirts he wears.

I have 3 of these. I wear em all the time, very durable, comfortable. They still look like the day I purchased them. I would like Another one to get to four but the wife says no more.

Ive been wearing this shirt everyday. Perfect for cold wet environment.

I am 5'11" 245lbs. Relatively muscular for an aging dude. I ordered XXL and it was HUGE. Exchanged for the XL and it's still kinda big in the body but the shoulders fit. I love the shirt and intend to order more.

Comfy, well made, just too big. I had to go down one size.

The best Bean cool weather shirts I have ever owned in over 50 years of being a customer. As warm as chamois, but they breath so you don't overheat and sweat too much during exertion. Any dampness dried really quick. Can be worn indoors comfortably, too, unlike chamois which is too warm. I have 6 of them. Only criticism is the price is an issue.

Fits well, as described. I like the convenience of the snaps and the shirt launders well.

I got this shirt for my husband for Christmas. He loves the snaps instead of buttons. Perfect for a senior citizen who has trouble managing buttons. The fit is perfect for him as he is tall. I got it in Large Tall. One of his favorite Christmas presents

This shirt is solid in its design, material, and warmth! It looks great bottomed up or unbuttoned with a t-shirt or henley underneath. Additionally, looks solid with an LLB vest! Ive gotten numerous compliments on all 3 designs I own! Cant recommend enough!

Not like everything else, love the snaps! Collection coming along nicely.

As usual, extremely well made, attention to details with a very comfortable fit. The sleeves are generous enough that I don't need to buy the tall version yet not too long - again just right as you'd expect from Bean

Best flannel shirt I own. I have a lot of flannel. 64 tall slim 185 pounds and this is the best fitting flannel that hasnt shrunk at all after several washes. I bought a second of a different color and it was the same level of satisfaction! LL Bean, if you look at this, more colors please and I will buy a 3rd!

Love this shirt, but LL Bean needs more consistency on their sizing across products. I've worn LL Bean XL shirts for 30 years, switching to the slim cut wherever it's offered. This one is listed as slightly fitted but there is an extra 16" of fabric in the midsection. My XL would likely fit a guy who normally buys a 3XL and has a barrel chest/keg body.

Great shirt - very durable and warm. Only thing I have to say is that it is BIG. I bought online and wish I had bought a small or tried on in person first. I wear medium almost exclusively, some times venturing into large, but this medium is huge.

Vey happy with the fabric & associated warmth, color, snap "buttons", and sizing. Delivery was prompt.

I am tall and thin {6' 4", 180#], and this shirt is the best fitting one in my closet. long length, long arms, but not baggy in the middle. I bought the medium tall size. the material is great- warm, but not too thick. the plaid colors are alittle out there, but not too crazy when you see them in person. I wish the red plaid was offered in a med tall, but have yet to see it offered on the website. very expensive shirt, but I will bite my tongue because I enjoy it so much.

I really like the pattern, but I hate how this material feels. It feels quite rough, more than any other flannel I own. The fit is also really baggy to me in the lower part which contradicts the fit description of slimmer in the waist. Unfortunately I have worn and washed it and only started realizing this later so can't return it. It will probably work best as a layer with another long sleeve so I don't have to feel the fabric against my skin. It is warm. I wouldn't purchase this again though. I just hope washing it more will soften the fabric.

Great quality, the sizing is a bit more "husky" than other large-tall brands. 6'3 180lbs, fit build, it's got plenty of room to spare but not quite "baggy." Love the snap buttons. The cuffs are too large for medium/thin wrists, again thicker build with fill this out perfectly. If you leave the top snap undone with an undershirt beneath, there's a pretty big space "V" below your neck to the next button down. The material feels very quality and durable without being rough.

If you are looking for a soft flannel shirt, this is not it. This shirt is a solid, well built twill shirt, which is very nice.. if that's what you want. The snaps are very good looking, the entire shirt is high quality, and it would absolutely be a more upscaled style shirt. I just had to return because I was looking for something softer, more casual.

Material is stiff. Hoping it will get softer after mor washings.

Wonderful pattern, great feel and fantastic build quality. The only reason for the 3/5 is that the fit is just not great for me. I'm 5'7" and ~175lbs - and this Medium size is far too long and too baggy for me. Returning it and hope to be able to purchase a Small as a replacement - but currently out of stock.

Not as soft as they used to be and get a lot more wrinkled. The first time I bought one of these shirts was 8 or 9 years ago and based on the tag it was made in China. The new ones are made in Vietnam. I can only assume the process for making them changed. Used to be one of my favorite types of shirts. Just bought three on sale. I should have bought more of the old ones.

I didn't realize the shirt had elbow patches. The patches are the same material as the shirt. Look odd. - Shirt is oversized. According to the size chart I wear a medium, but medium is too big. 5 ft 8 in. 160 lbs. 32 waist 40 chest. - This is primaily polyester and doesn't reflect a normal "flannel" appearance. It does look good though, and looks like it would wear extremely well and last a long time. And it is heavyweight.

Seems there's less material in the size. Little disappointed in fit, love the color
