Overall happy with the look and feel after breaking them in

Absolutely LOVE these shoes!

Very happy with this purchase. I've been a Frye fan for 10+ years, with mostly good results. Some boots can be sized inconsistently . . . these shoes are true to size, and well made. My fav. is the color: While listed as "black" they are actually more of a black with hints of oxblood (burgundy) showing through, which makes them very versatile to wear with dress slacks normally worn with both black and burgundy shoes/belt. They also look great with jeans, which is how I pair them often (work casual - dress shirt or sweater and jeans).

've been a 10. 5 for 30 yrs and never had an issue until these shoes ,way to narrow and not true to size

These are the perfect loafer that goes with any business casual or formal attire. The leather is quality and takes some time to break in. I ordered my normal size and the fit is perfect!

True to size but I would like to have WIDE sizes available

Very nice casual suede shoes. Rubber sole is great / a big upgrade over the prior version (that was among my favorite shoes until they wore out)

Purchase the shoes for the soul might have some leather on it. It doesnt thats on me for not checking, but the shoe is fine like everything else I can tell the quality of fry products has decreased in the last 10 years, but I would buy the shoe again maybe in the charcoal color if available Ive worn the shoe three times breaking was quick and they seem comfortable

Just what I was looking for in a penny loafer- slightly rugged with the leather and rubber sole and not too preppy like I needed a sweater vest to wear with them. The black is a nice burnished look with tones of brown underneath. The fit was also true to size for me. I wear a size 12 and have narrow feet so they are slightly loose but with a thicker sock or insole they fit like a glove. Finally, the leather is butter soft and didnt need broken in. I tried other loafers like this from other brands and these are far superior. Now Im after some of their boots.

Nice and sharp

"Burnished" look in photos was not a true in person. Quality not as expected. Have a pair of Frye boots that I like - possibly more than a pair of Alden Indy Boots. In comparison the quality of these shoes disappoints for the money. And ... really tired of the barrage of emails from Frye.

I requested return instructions 2 weeks ago and have not heard back. Please advise.

Are you freakin kiddin me??? You care??? I will never buy another pair of shoes from Frye again. Hows that for a review? On top of that, I will tell anyone who will listen not to buy shoes at Frye.

So much extra leather around the ankles that they look like desert boots from the top. My feet are average width and the length is a perfect fit. Now sure what happened. The extra leather makes them look warped. Clearly inconsistent measurements or a freakishly deformed last were used.

Purchased this shoe, loved it so much that I ordered a second pair. Second pair came in at a different weight, upper lining of cheaper material., have reached out to them waiting reply. Would have not posted but they havent replied so thought to share here
