The sandal is high quality, what you would expect from ECCO. A little frumpy, but also what you would expect from ECCO :-D I would have loved to keep them.... However, the shoes came with this wicked odor, like a musty, dead rodent kind of smell. It filled up the entire room within minutes of unboxing, and I even wore them into a different room. After a few minutes of sitting quietly, the musty smell invaded that room too! The shoes were perfectly packaged, clearly brand new, so this is likely some kind of defective batch or a major issue in the warehouse. (I've had similar issues with USB-C cables from Apple, which they attributed to issues with the storage facility vs. the manufacturing itself.)
