I am huge fan of the Vionic Miles first edition (I've bought over 7 pair). These are nothing like those. They seem wider than listed and both the sole and the top are much firmer. In fact, it was so firm that the top was really uncomfortable when walking. I'm sure I could have gotten used to it eventually, but I'll stick with the old edition for now.

Reviewed at Vionic Shoes
I am disappointed in the quality of these shoes. They feel cheaply made compared to my other 2 pairs. I did not go into a mall store to try them on, just ordered online expecting much better outcome. Learned another lesson.

Did not fit good. Need more padding in metatarsal are and hurt foot on top when tied. I’m 79 and have a hard time finding the right shoes.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance and Brooks are the only two I have been able to wear.

I placed this order expecting new shoes. These were worn enough that the insert logo had been worn off and they smelled. I was charged full price as if it was a new unworn pair of shoes.

I own approx. 12 pairs of Vionic sandals and slippers. I thought this sneaker would be true to Vionic but it's not. The Toe Box is so tight I had to return them. A Wide shoe with a tight Toe Box? This was a great disappointment.
I'd also recommend:
Vionic (sandals and slippers only) and Mephisto
