Three years ago I bought 2 pairs of Gamma hiking pants and I still love, love them. I have worn and washed them every week for 3 years. I felt it was time to buy a new pair since these original purchases were getting a bit worn.
I ordered the Gamma LT (for women) thinking they would be the same style and fit that I have come to love. Wrong. The tapered leg is way too tapered and fit tight against my calves - very annoying, it feels like hiking in skinny jeans. I was surprised, given that Arcteryx provides athletic gear - yet athletic women don't fit these pants. Too bad, so sad.

These Gamma LT Pants W are the best pants for golf that Ive found. Style and versatility. Im a male, but these 2 reg fit perfectly. The legs are trim and when walking in wet grass they do not pick up any moisture. The extra zip pockets are a bonus. Bought two pairs, expensive but worth it. I hope they do not change the style or the lightweight material. Will buy more next year or when on sale.

I was afraid to buy these after reading the last couple of reviews...I owned a pair from 2019 and really liked that style. These arrived today and fit great! The leg is more tapered but not confining or restricting...more like streamlined to make them look a more modern. I am 5'9" got the regular length, and yeah wouldn't say no to an extra inch for total complete happiness, but still not bad! Will probably get the Tall version in a different color.

For me, these pants provide outstanding comfort, versatility, and fit. At 5'2" and about 100 pounds, I usually have difficulty finding pants that fit well; but the 00 size is perfect for me. I wear them hiking, traveling, to dinner parties, and around town. The weight of the fabric has been comfortable for spring temperatures.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She loves the Kyla Pant and customer service suggested that this new Gamma Lightweight Pant was a replacement. The Gamma is very odd! the legs are super short like high-waters or capri length, and the waist is so high the pants fit like really bad 'mom-jeans'.

Good pants, nice and light. Great with two thigh pockets. I would like to see a more effective button as it is useless. The belt is what keep it up. I would like the bottom cuff a little wider to stay over the top of hiking boots.

Love these pants! I bought the previous version about 2 years ago, and they are by far my favorite pair of climbing and hiking pants. They are lightweight enough that I can wear them on hot midwestern days. They've held up really well to climbing on many types of rock. Nice, mid-rise, comfortable fit.

I work as an outdoor educator, and bought these pants for day-to-day wear, but also for climbing. I found they fit the bill for work wear, with many pockets and a professional-looking cut, but were a tad too narrow and low-rise to really move with me while climbing. I found I also have to cinch in the waist a LOT to get them to stay up when I have anything heavy in my pockets, like my phone or keys.

I bought these pants about a month ago and I am very happy that I did it. They were perfect for hot weather where I traveled. l really impressed with the quality . Therefore, I hope that Arc'teryx will make some comfortable pull on pants with zipper pockets that I can wear for long hour flights. Thank you, Arc'tyrex.

I just bought these about 2 weeks ago. Initially, I bought size 4, but returned them for size 2, and they fit perfectly. I am 51 and 102 pounds.

These pants have quickly become one of my absolute favorites. I'm a petite individual, standing at 5 feet tall and weighing 110 pounds. Initially, I opted for the size 0S, but in hindsight, I'm thinking I should have gone for the size 2S due to my wider hips.
I primarily use these pants for both hiking and rock climbing. When it comes to rock climbing, I put them to the test both indoors at the gym and outdoors on natural rock formations. The durability of these pants has truly impressed me; they've proven to be one of the most robust pieces of clothing in my wardrobe.
What I appreciate most about them is their exceptional fit. These pants contour perfectly to my body, making them one of my best-fitting pairs. Even after rock climbing sessions, there are still no signs of holes or scratches on them. These pants have certainly exceeded my expectations in terms of both comfort and durability.

I bought size 0 because there seems to not be size 00 available in regular length. The features of these pants are excellent. The pockets are positioned well and the zippers are are of high quality and durable.

I brought just one pair of pants on a 24 day hike on the John Muir Trail. We experienced hot sun, rain, hail, light snow and heavy thunderstorms. These pants were perfect throughout. Never needed anything more. Kept me dry and warm. Were comfortable, stretchable and flexible. The adjustable belt was useful with weight changes and other hikers thought these pants looked fresh and new regardless. Fit great.

Shopping for pants can be a disheartening experience. So, I am 5-stars-level happy to report that these pants fit wonderfully. I have curvy hips and butt and small waist and these fit very well. The waist is per usual too big. But that's no problem, because there's a low-profile cinch mechanism that fixes the issue. Absolutely constructed with the need for scrambling-type movement in mind. The lightweight material was just what I was looking for. Bottom line: functional, and very flattering fit.

I bought these for rock climbing and mountaineering through a recommendation. They are really versatile, durable and comfortable with great wind-proofing, quick drying too. The pockets are generous and I really like that the waist is so easy to adjust. I find with some pants that they won't fit my waist and my hips, but in these, I could immediately move around freely and securely. I'll be buying another pair in black too!

I was hopeful these would be a good replacement for my favorite Arcteryx climbing pants, the Sigma SL pants. Unfortunately, these snagged and ripped on the thigh the first time I wore them climbing. The fit is great I like the adjustable tab, maybe a better pant for hiking or everyday wear, but these wont be a go for rock climbing. I would love to see Arc bring back the Sigma line for climbing apparel.

I have two pairs of the Gamma in a 2S that I love. I have an older version of the Gamma SL (now called the Gamma Lightweight) in a 2S as well. I ordered this updated version in a 2S and the pants were way too short; they sat 3" above my ankles. At 5'3", pants being too short is not an issue I typically run into. I found the sizing of this pant to be inconsistent with other Arcteryx women's pants.

These pants are my absolute go-to. They are really flattering and comfortable. I love the height of the waistband, location of all the pockets, the way they hug my curves but also have enough stretch so I am able to move freely without feeling frumpy. Wind and water resistant, they are light while still offering protection from the elements and dry really quickly. Perfect for hiking, climbing, running or just daily life. You won't regret owing a pair of these! I have both Gamma LT & Gamma SL (superlight).

I wore these pants one time on a hike I do regularly that is a cleared trail and ended the day with a snag/hole. I wear the regular gammas on this hike all the time. One pair I have had for several years without issue. These are not durable. I asked customer service for a refund or replacement and they offered me $32.

I had a size 10 of a similar model, that was slightly too big. I chose to order a size 8, turns out it's a bit loose. I still love it and will probably order a different model size 6.
