I am extremely picky when it comes to my shoes. I am a Nurse Practitioner and on my feet all day long. I have a very difficult time trying to find a classy loafer that won't hurt my feet and leave blisters. I was amazed by these shoes. I didn't have to break them in. The leather is so soft, there is cushion for every step and they have a classic look. I get a ton of compliments, I am comfortable all day- they are worth every penny. I even bought a second pair in green. I have never found another dress shoe that is so beautiful and most importantly comfortable- which is what shoes should be!!! I love this brand- they made being on my feet for 12 hours a day easy! Thank you Margaux!!!!

Bought the Penny Loafer in black and in Oyster. When I am not wearing sneakers, I am wearing Margaux Penny Loafer. They are so comfortable from the very first wear. They are perfect for work or a night out. They are light and hence great for packing and travel - yet, they provide sufficient support (I have walked around the airport, to and from the office - a 20 min walk in NYC streets). I have sprayed them with protective suede product but would avoid wearing them in the rain. I would not hesitate buying this shoe again. I am 60 years old, and have suffered from multiple foot injury and Mortons Neuroma. This is the only pretty shoe that I can wear with ease and comfort. I so appreciated the great customer service - I was able to email with a very helpful associate at Margaux who advised me on sizing. Could not be happier and will continue to buy from Margaux.

nice and soft. I spray them with Vectra to protect the suede. My Margaux shoes usually last about 3-4 years depending on how much I wear them. The Penny is extra comfortable. I have two pairs and the rest of the round toed ballet.

I've been a big fan of the Demi for years, but I think I might have found a new favorite. These are sooo comfy and the leather is very soft. They go with pretty much anything and are very elegant.

I tried the shoes on at the Margaux store on Bleecker before buying. Went in for a ballet flat and came out with these emerald stunners! they look amazing with a wide leg pant or cropped denim. They fit exactly like the did in the store even without the custom breaking in the store samples have. I was able to wear them all night on the subway, to a broadway show and a stroll home afterwards comfort was beyond.

Comfy right out of the box. A great neutral that goes with everything.

I NEVER write reviews, but these are too great for me to keep quiet. Elegant with just enough flair to make them fun and oh, so comfortable right out of the box. Have you ever thought of making them in calf leather in addition to the suede? I love the suede (and the colors are rich and gorgeous - I got the emerald and caramel, and am very tempted by the garnet) but usually find that calf leather holds up better to city walking.

LOVE them! The suede is a great chocolate color and they are so comfortable. They are true to size and easy to slip on and off. I am such a big fan! Margaux continues to be my favorite shoe brand!

Theses shoes are very elegant and high quality. Please bring more modes, Im a fan and frequently visit the website to see the new designs. I think the website homepage is a little confusing and also logging in could be tricky if I opt out the cookies so just for your information.

Love the color, shape, and material! It is flattering on my feet and it feels like its custom made. I ordered a new pair of Coach loafers also, but it doesnt even come close to the quality of the Penny. My only dilemma was the color (I loved both brown and burgundy), but I think I would be happy with either. I would totally get another pair of the Penny if they came in leather as well. Perhaps ecru or white!

Comfortable, stylish and size is perfect! This is the fourth pair of shoes Ive bought from Margaux. I love the quality and styles and colors to choose from. These look more expensive than they are. Love the loafers!
