Let me say my rating has nothing to do with style. Because i love everything about this design, expect the heel. I dont know how they messed that up so badly, i bought 2 sizes to see which one would fit better. Its a narrow shoe, so i went with 6 but the heel kept slipping up with every step making it completely unbareable to walk in. I tried thicker no show socks, and still the same issue. I feel that the heel design is too short to really grab onto your heel, plus not having any sort of padding might be the cause of this. I too like others refrain from still having to buy heel inserts on such an expensive shoehopefully they will redesign these and it will be an instant buy from me. Sadly, i returned.

I wish I read the reviews before. I purchased both 6 and 5.5 to see which one would fit best. Comfort 6 was great. But I had my heel slip up with each step. 5.5 same thing. Plus it was a tighter fit. My heel still kept slipping upwards. Please remake these shoes but with a higher back or more of a grip where the heel won't keep slipping upwards. I love everything else about these shoes. I'm so torn I had to return.

I'm a Cole Haan devotee but I have to say - these are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. They are not like the "tennis shoe loafers" we know and love. They are beautiful looking torture devices that have permanently cut up and disfigured my feet. Size down lol!

I bought these in the egret and cinnabar. They are super comfy and fit true to size. That being said, I noticed immediately that they stain. A speck of dust got on them and discolored them immediately, I'm not exaggerating. The material (for this color anyway) is not regular leather, it is super soft (it feels like the material a magic eraser is made from), almost porous, so it absorbs everything. I am returning, unfortunately.

My dream show is wayyyy too narrow. So bummed.

Very narrow in the toe. Heel is very scratchy. Very rare for Cole Haan to make a shoe this bad. Returning!
