The sole is more comfortable for sure and the leather reinforcements are right where they need to be based on where the previous canvas shoe would tear. However, definitely a little more narrow and runs smaller than the previous version (11.5 previously, but now would prefer a 12). The branding was previously better too, much more subtle, more is not better. Overall good shoe.
