You guys nailed it with these work boots. Ive been wearing keen foot were for 14 years and these are by far the best Ive worn. Only thing I wish was that they were an 8 or 10 high boot as I work in the woods running chain saws and all kinds of equipment, this would help keep debris out. My full time job is spent on concreat floors in a production facility and as a production supervisor I put in over 4 miles a day.
GREAT JOB, these things rock!

Test drove them for 3 weeks, but had to send them back. The silly bellows allows the upper to collapse straight into my toes when kneeling or crouching, and the upper is reinforced by the hard plastic that the laces run through, which has sharp edged tiny holes, making lacing... interesting. I was under 30 days, so KEEN gave a full refund.

It only took two days of work to regret this purchase. I agree that the toe protection crushes the top of your toes when kneeling and the as seen in the photo the back of the boot is coming apart already. I am a property manager and the work is not aggressive by any means. I figured $190.00 would get me a much higher quality boot.

Bought a new pair from a local work boot place here in Utah. Great looking boots and if you're just walking around they are sturdy and comfortable. However, in my line of work, I do a bunch of kneeling and bending down. These things will CRUSH your toes right where they join your foot. It's not a little amount either. My work week is Mon-Thurs, and I can feel the pinch/crush spot on my toes until Saturday even though I'm not wearing them.

Funny how my 1 star review and another got removed from this boot, but a 5 star review takes its place. Both my review and the other complained about toe pain when kneeling. And this 5 star review specifically says no toe pain when kneeling. Because of his use of insoles and wool socks. I do the exact same thing, I use power step insoles and darn tough cusion socks and have never experienced foot pain like wearing these boots. Don't buy these, buy the Vista Energy. Those are the best boots I have ever had. And like the "5 star review" I have also had other boots, red wings, thorogood, irish setters, timberlands, die hards, and othe models of keen. These are by far the worst boots every. DON'T DELETE MY REVIEW KEEN OR I WILL KEEP WRITING THEM!

Over the past four years I have tried two pairs of timbs, one pair of Ariats, one pair of Danners, and one other pair of Keens. This is my latest purchase and Ive had them for a month. I will probably never buy anything other than keen from now on. I love these boots so much as they are everything I was looking for. Lightweight, comfortable from day one with no rubbing during walking or when flexing my feet while kneeling. Keep in mind that I also wear additional insoles and wool-blend socks.

I've owned a few pairs of keen boots, but these are by far the worst. Worst boots ever actually. I'm not sure if they even tested these boots. They never even made it to the jobsite, tested them around the house and as soon as I took a knee the boot pinched my toes and bruised them. After I had bought my pair of boot i seen someone wrote a similar review and now I see that one is missing. Lets see if keen stays honest and leaves this one. I've been preaching keen boots for years but they seem to be getting worst. Fix this keen or
I will be taking my business and recommendations elsewhere

It was OK. The material started to tear a little bit after about 120 days.

Right foot was fine, left foot the there was a small bump under pinkie toe that caused pain after a day of wearing. Left foot, steel toe rubbed side of big toe and caused a callus. Laces did not stay tight.

This company boast about their products being made in the USA- the Northwest to be exact. This is a lie- this product is NOT made in America. My boots came all the way from China. I would LOVE to support companies that make products here in the USA, but it is hard to find companies that are actually doing this. I am even willing to spend more money on them (This pair of boots for example- if I wanted Chinese boots I could've spent $89.95 and gotten something very similar!!). Truth in advertising goes a long way with me. IF this pair of boots lasts 3 years, I may look to buy them again, MAYBE!! I like Ariat boots, but finding work boots has become difficult, it's like they have turned their focus to clothing, and keeping up with cowboy style boots. Even those are made outside of the USA though. My last pair were from the Philippines, and I guess that is better than China. If anyone knows of a USA brand actually made in the USA please leave a review for them so maybe I can find them!!!
I'd also recommend:

These shoes showed up used. For $180 pair of shoes I would think I would get new.

The safety toe curls in at the end and rubs right in your toes knuckles and it gets super uncomfortable after about an hour. My husband bought these same shoes and had the same issue so I think it’s a manufacturing problem.

So stiff; caused literal pain walking up stairs. Since I was scheduled to work on the second floor the first day I wore them, I had to use an hour of PTO to go home and change shoes. The upper just cuts into your shins so hard. I like this brand very much, but will stick with mid/low tops from now on.
