This is starting to feel like a very good boot. They were very tight out of the box, especially the right foot. I am stubborn, so I just kept putting them on, finally after about a week or a little more they are very comfortable. I had actually begun the return process because the first few times I wore them I couldn't wait to take them off at the end of the day. I'm glad I stuck it out and got them broken in, now they feel like a good boot.

Ive bought two pair of these boots in the last month. Sizes 14 and 13. One for my son and one for my son in law. I got my son a pair two years ago and he wore them both for dress and play. My son in law often borrowed them for date nights with my daughter and this is after they were well broken in! These are very durable boots! My son is an electrician so I chose the shock shield ones this time. Now they each have their own and dont have to fight over them! I see future purchases every two years with these guys!

My left boots is more uncomfortable then the other and rubs against my ankle and got blistered my ankle after wearing them less 4 days. And now boot barn won't allow me to return them. It has a little edge in the inside wear the ankle is that makes it really uncomfortable

I suffer from bone spurs in my heels, plantar fasciitis and Im heavy. I saw a few good reviews for shock shield heel and decided to give it a try. WOW, comfortable day one and my feet feel great. This is my third pair of Ariat Sierras, the first two did not have this heel. If any of you suffer from heel/foot pain give any boot with the shock shield heel a try.

Bought these as I did not want anything insulated and wanted a soft toe work boot. They felt sloppy on my feet from day one(I bought the same size as all my other Ariat boots.) Had to add thin leather insoles under the existing to take up some space to make them fit like my other Ariat's. Would not buy again. 3 stars because they lasted a while.

Well made boots, but too wide for my narrow size 13's.

Didn't make it 6 months and already looking for another boot
