So cute! Excellent shoe - very comfortable

Love these shoes so much! I was worried as I have a bunion and they are braided but they work great and provide support and comfort!

This has the standard fit of the Birkenstock. I was nervous because many reviewers were concerned about the comfort of the braided strap. I found them unwearable with the straps tightened as I normally would wear them. However, if I loosened them one notch, they didn't bother me and I can wear them just as long as my others. I did wear them with socks around the house for a week or so to break in the leather. The color is gorgeous and the style is flattering.

Never thought I would be wearing these type of shoes. Love them so much.

Love the Birkenstock brand- broke my ankle a few years back and now have arthritis-so, these are life-savers, so comfy and so durable. I have several different styles!

Love, love, LOVE the Festival Fuchsia! (A winter can never have enough pink shoes.) And I love the little added style with the braid. However, I did notice that the braid makes them a tad uncomfortable compared to the regular Franca. That's why I deducted one star. But I think that as long as I don't try to walk all day in them, their good!

I love Birks and have worn various styles for 30 or more years. These are so cute and look very nice on my feet. However, the cute braid is Very uncomfortable. I won't wear these when I need to walk any distance but reserve them for church.

Oof! I wear a 6 (36) in Birks and I love the brand. The way the top straps of these hit my foot, though, emphasized the absolutely widest part of my already-wide feet. Despite the thin straps, they looked like flippers! Loved the color; sorry to return.

The upper band is too high up and cuts into my upper foot when I walk

I LOVE Birkenstocks and have owned dozens of pairs. I LOVE the look of these, but they are very uncomfortable. I know Birks are always uncomfortable at first and need to be broken in, but this pair is different. I love the look of the braid, but it's very uncomforable on your foot. It hurts just to wear them - I can't imagine wearing them for more than a few minutes. I really want to love these, but they hurt the top of my foot.

So pretty! The ankle strap on this sandal feels a little better than the strap on the non-braided Franca, but it still rubs my foot.

Fit was ok, but - braided leather against bare feet is wildly uncomfortable! I did not notice the braiding when I ordered these.

footbed was huge. buckles hard to manage.

I wanted so much for these to work because they were so cute, but the top braided strap was just too uncomfortable. It rubbed against my foot too much. Had to return them.

I have owned dozens of Birkies. The right shoe on this pair fit slightly skewed Tried different buckle combinations to no avail. Maybe a minor lemon detail made it wonky? But, great return policy and super day

The braid on this sandal leaves horrible blistering across the top of my foot - I have never been able to wear them. I need to be able to exchange them for a Birkenstock style that doesn't do this.

I have had Birkenstocks most of my adult life. I can't ever recall having to return a pair. The size is always consistent 38 (7.5) and even when I broke my foot, my Birkenstocks were the only shoe I could walk in. But these are braided. I immediatley put them on and wore them in the house. not 30 minutes later, I had blisters! Someone did write a review and said this, but I ignored it thinking- "maybe she didn't wear Birkis before" So, these are going back. But it's no reflection on Zappos. This is just the braid. It's awful and painful. They are not too tight or anything. The braid pinches. Now, the color is beautiful. The shoe couldn't offer more support and all I can say is it's the style . But I'm so happy to have the knowledge! I will come back and just choose a different style when I have time. Thank you!
