this bag is nice and versatile. however, it's also very expensive. For the price I think it could have added a few more conveniences. I debated about keeping it. In the end I did.

I purchased this bag for traveling and, as with my other baggallini bags, I assumed that I'd also use it at home. It looks more like a laptop carrier or messenger bag than a handbag. I think that for travel it's fine, but not for everyday use. It would be nicer if the outside zipper compartments were a little larger.

I mostly use the handles to carry the bag. I do not recommend this bag if you are looking for a comfortable backpack option. The backpack will not stay close to your back.

I'm looking forward to using this on my upcoming trip to Europe in a few weeks. The options look very interesting. I'm guessing at this point.

This bag is pretty close to ideal. Good size and I love the color (I got silver) and I like that it's sort of dressy but not so dressy that it clashes when I'm not dressed up. My only complaints: *When in backpack mode, the bag can be difficult to get off/on as the straps move due to the design (it's just the shoulder strap put through a loop). It can be unwieldy. I would maybe make the backpack straps individual with the ability to hook/unhook from the loops at the bottom of the bag so you can store the straps behind the baggage sleeve when not using as a backpack. *A laptop or tablet sleeve would be awesome. *The bottle holders on the sides can be difficult to get stuff in and out of when the bag is more than half full as the bag sort of 'occupies' some of that space. If these bottle holder pockets were stretchy, that might help to alleviate the problem.

My search is usually futile. I love this bag in every way EXCEPT that the backpack conversion is very poor. The straps slide back and forth. Figure out a way to keep them stable to be able easily slip them on and off my shoulders and back.

I am still trying to find the perfect carry on bag. I like the slip band that easily fits over my suitcase handle, the water bottke pockets are great, iPad pocket and zipper compartments are nice, I carry Bose earphones, some puzzle books, a small hair dryer and I couldn't get it to zip. For international travel I am thinking it just isn't big enough. Dang I was hopeful

I really like my new weekender bag. I can really see this as my "go to" bag for short trips and as a carry on bag. Didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't have padding on the crossbody strap.

I was so excited when I ordered this but when it arrived it was so small. I returned it immediately. I was interested in all the pockets and love that it had the trolly arm.

I bought this to have a lightweight backpack that could also be used as a crossbody bag. The strap used for the backpack slides to whichever side you put on first and becomes very tight for the other shoulder making it difficult to get on comfortably.

I have gone through several Baggallini purse models trying to find one that works for me. This would be my top choice-- it's plenty roomy, sturdy and well made, has a variety of generously sizeed pockets and is good for everyday or as a carry-on with the sleeve in the back you can slide your suitcase handle through. One MAJOR design flaw for me is that when the top is not zipped, it gapes open, in both the back pack and the shoulder bag/crossbody configurations, inviting pickpockets. I'm in and out of my bag constantly and rarely zip it. The zipper is a nice feature to have if you are stowing it under your seat or want to make sure things inside are very secure, but for day to day use, they could have (and should have) added an invisible magnetic closure inside the lining, or a short or full height flap w/ magnetic closure that would go over the top of the front. Or put the shoulder strap D-rings on the sides. Even if they had moved one of the top D-rings to the front of the bag (as is very common with detachable shoulder straps), that would prevent it from gaping excessively. I know myself and I know I'm not going to start zipping it open and closed 20x a day. Another issue is that the long strap when used in the backpack configuration is not long enough when wearing a bulky coat or for larger bodied people. And the drop on the leatherette carry-handles aren't long enough to fit over your shoulder, only can be held in your hand. If they would fix these features, I could see this being my go-to bag and buy a new color or print every year. Sadly, now, i will need to return this one.

I bought this bag a few years ago. Great design and wore well. Bought it in midnight blossom and thought it was same design. NOPE. No longer has a great pocket with a built in rfid wallet which was fantastic and handy. Now it needs a separate wallet that adds bulk, weight and expense. Super disappointed you changed a very useful design to a cheaper, not so great version. Debating sending it back. It and all the accessories.

I purchased the 3-in-1 convertible because it had the backpack and water bottle holder features which I would love on my avenue tote. I've had a silver version of the Avenue tote (which is very similar) for four years and it's been to seven countries and was my every day commuter bag when I lived in London for a year. I jumped on the 3-in-1 thinking it would be just like my other bag but with extra features, however it's not big enough to fit my 15" laptop! I wish the bag was a little bigger because then it would check off all the boxes for what I want in a bag and the build quality of the 3-in-1 looks just a good as that of my beloved tote. If there's any way, please make it a little bigger!

Not the right bag for my travel purposes. Heavy with very few items inside bag, weighing 6 lbs total incl bag. Convertible backpack strap cut into shoulders, and awkward to use.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Nice fabric, quality is solid. But by the time I put my water bottle in the outside sleeve and my laptop inside the bag, there is no room for anything else!

I was really looking forward to receiving this bag. Unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The backpack is not easy to put on. It could be used as a crossbody, but it is bulky. Sadly I'm returning

I just bought this, but the wristlet was not included. The bag is great, but I would like the matching wristlet. The hang tag even boasts about RFID-protection.

This has not made me as happy as I hoped it would. I find it very difficult to put on and off, given its construction. It is also very stiff. Good features are that it easily holds my laptop and has a good number of other pockets.

In short: better than most soft briefcases; not a good backpack. The main pocket functions like a briefcase and holds my iPad Pro and papers plus all my purse items. The main pocket holds the briefcase shape better than other soft briefcases. The backpack straps - the feature that I purchased the bag for - don't work well. They are awkward to put on and so I don't use them. So I carry the bag like a purse (which is usually too heavy to be a good idea) or a briefcase.

So been looking at this bag for awhile. Like the backpack option for brief periods when need hands free. Like the shoulder strap to use as crossbody or for a change up. CON: purse type handles way too short they need 2 to 4 more inches. When traveling or commuting with this bag, safety and security is needed. Holding the bag close to the body is necessary. The purse handle strap barely fit on my shoulder with a t-shirt on, will never fit with a jacket or coat. How are women supposed to carry this close to the body. Please re-think this design, would re-buy if handles were longer, as is will be returning as un-useful with current design.

Used it for a couple of weeks and went back to my old Bagga-tote. This bag is heavy empty and the strap makes it hang badly, especially if it's unzipped. The hand straps get in the way. I own over a dozen Baggallini bags and this was the first failure to perform. Too bad, like the color.
