I ordered these because they came in Wide - few boots do! They were the tightest boots I have ever been able to get on my foot, but they hurt just getting my foot crammed in - they were SO narrow!! And that made the witchy pointed toes look even longer! I was glad they hurt, and I wouldn't keep them, because the proportion of the narrow shoe and long pointy toe made them quite unattractive, not cute western boots! I had thought the open sides would give a lot of room, but the tight leather around the middle of the foot was just too much! No idea if they were "true to size" or about the arch support, as it was so painful *around* my foot I just took it right off and didn't even try the other one!
