if you wear beanies regularly this one is a must have, it keeps your head warm under challenging weather its so light weight you forget you are wearing it. Overall awesome product two suggestions for Arc'teryx for this product will be to offer black thread stitch for the logo and avoid print tagging sizing information so low inside the beanie to avoid the visibility of it in the event of wearing it with the edges folded out

Like most people with larger heads, I find it hard to find hats that fit. Not only is this one big, it's awesome in every other way. I wore it running as soon as I got it and it kept me warm yet it was very breathable. This has become my favourite colder weather running hat as well as a nice beanie to fit under my ski helmet. Love it! Please make more colours next year!

I love wearing beenies like this during the cooler months of the year and this is now my favorite. It is so lightweight and breathable. I get hat fatigue after wearing a knit cap all day. This is just perfect and exactly what I have been looking for.

The fabric feels really nice - soft and warm, but with good stretch. It feels like this toque will keep its shape over time, not stretch out like some wool toques do. Lightweight enough to shove in a jacket pocket. Seems to fit a bit on the small size, but I don't like tight fitting hats, so that might just be me. I would normally wear a S/M in a toque, but the L/XL is perfect.

I just bought two more of these Merino wool beanies (now I have four) because despite their thinness they are remarkably warm and space efficient. You can stuff one of these in the pocket of any jacket and forget that it's there since the hat weighs almost nothing. But if the temps drop and the wind picks up this thing is a life (and ear) saver. It will layer up under a hood or other cap or even a helmet. Also, Merino wool is not itchy at all and does not retain odors either- an almost perfect material. Highly recommended.

Great for under my ski helmet or bike helmet. Lots of coverage for the head and ears. Almost too long for my small head but I just push it back a bit from my face and works for me. Lightweight but warm merino and easily ticks into a pack of pocket when not needed.

Haven't been able to test it out too much yet, but based off first impressions it's very solid. Good, warm wool. Will fit under a climbing or cycling helmet no problem.

this is my second purchase and i use it under my helmet. The merino is very strong, well made and light. I have tried competitors but this is the best one.

I love merino. I recently purchased this toque for shoulder seasons and so far it is perfect. Can also fit under a bike helmet, which is convenient. The toque now come in 2 sizes (compared to one-size-fits-all on the previous versions). Following the instructions in the sizing chart, I fall right in-between the S/M and L/XL at 57.5cm (the small stops at 57 and the large at 58). I managed to try the toque in store before purchasing online and picked the S/M which fits great and fully covering my ears. I just hope it won't shrink with time. I only put 4 stars just because the toque is a bit expensive for what it is in my opinion: I have a couple of other similar merino toques from other brands which I paid half price, even less. I wouldn't definitely pay the full price, try to get it on the Arc'teryx Outlet store if you can. But still a great product a the end.

I have owned a half dozen RHO merino wool beanies over the last decade. Im bald and therefore require a light comfortable head covering from October-March. By far the best quality product out there. Im a 6 ft dude and the small- medium is form fitting and comfortable and the large-X-Large is form fitting but slightly less tight. Great for most conditions especially exercise as the merino breaths and wicks never feeling wet or cold. This is ultra light so a hood supplements nicely but a heavy toque is still required if the mercury drops. I have several Kuiu Merino beanies which are equal quality however I reach for the RHO daily and prefer Arcteryx

Based upon reviews already posted, I was apprehensive, but took the plunge and splurged my wonga on this expensive toque only because of the fine fabric as I wanted a very lightweight item to wear indoors and outdoors. Actually, bought two, black and the 'magenta' ish coloured one!
If they both hold shape after a few washes, I will be more than happy to give 5 stars. Currently, I would give 3 1/2 stars as the black looks better in appearance compared to the 'magenta' ish one.

Let other people remark about the outdoor features, benefits and uses of this terrific lightweight hat. I took it on an airplane flight, pulled it down over my eyes and ears and enjoyed a sweet ,tranquil block out of the light and most of the ambient noise around me.

The Toque came in the mail with cuts and holes. Im worried about ordering here again with the quality that I recieved. I was excited to use it for my trip too since Im a big fan. Hopefully the next time I order, I wont get holes and slices in my product.
