It is really suitable for short trip. And the color of the waist bag is my favorite.

Well , the mantis 1 is a great small pack but after some months of daily use there's a small hole on the left side above the logo , 3 stars for the quality and 5 for the design.

Love this bag. Perfect for storing all my essential day to day items (phone, airpods, wallet, car keys). Thoughtfully designed storage, but the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the strap and buckle - I think it could be a little thicker and more robust. If that were changed, I would buy a new one and give it a 5 star review!

This color gets dirty very easily, especially in the summer when you apply sunscreen.

Like the shape and color offered. Great internal organization with different pockets. Hope they make the strap longer in the future for more flexibility.

I'm very lightweight. The size is kind of small for me.

Bag fits more than you think with functional pockets. However, be careful of the material on the strap loops. It rubs against your clothes and causes extreme pilling. It looks like I snagged multiple shirts on Velcro because I had no idea when I was wearing this Fanny pack.

I love the pack it's great, my only complaint is that I wish the strap was thicker! Other than that, great material, great size, lots of pockets and it's a nice material so it looks awesome!

This waistpack is easy to use and has lots of different pockets to organize everything you want to carry. I really liked the design of the bag but it would be nice if a thicker and softer belt was used.

This bag is for sure in the smaller size so if you plan on carrying a bunch of goodies size up to the next model. Perfect size for wallet, keys, phone & a few spliffs. As others have mentioned the strap length is fine, you just have to be an adult & adjust the strap as intended

I wanted to love this just like I love the previous design. The loop of the strap is now tugged in, the strap does not follow the contour of the body as well now. Opening of main pocket is smaller, tough to put in and take out the passport, I missed having the divider at the back instead of front of the main compartment, who thinks it is a good idea?!? It makes more sense to keep something flat close to the body instead of in the middle of a pouch. Lastly, the main seam is a lot stiffer and the key strap in a hidden compartment of the main compartment is useless. A lousy re-design, period.

I like this bag, it is comfortable and would probably fit my two phones, card case lipstick and keys that I need to carry at work. The problem is that my XL size smartphone is a complete struggle to get into and out of the bag which makes it very annoying to use and so I have given up on it. To bad, as I liked the colors and and the compartments and pockets.

This used to be one of my favorite bags, but the revision means that it no longer easily holds my big iPhone (the one from two years ago did). It can fit, but it's doesn't easily slide in. Also the strap is narrow, less comfortable, and has sharper edges that are very abrasive to clothing. My poor Atom is full of micro tears after wearing it three times, and Arc'teryx won't cover damage from the mantis bag under their warranty. Nothing super heavy. Not even my phone in there. The older one had no problem. Please change these things back! Otherwise it's very well laid out and a great size. But that doesn't matter if a 1l bag shreds your clothes.

I bought this bag 2 years ago. After 8 months the main zip broke so i bough a new one. The same thing happend after 8 months - the main zip broke. I live in morocco and spend all my time in the outdoors and need a reliable waist bag. This is not it. It has an 8 months expiry date. I went to look at the latest model yesterday in a shop in Sweden. For a while I considered buying my third one but had a bad feeling of the new design. Black. From looking at the website photo. In real life it was even worse. the fabric has now changed to some very bad quality plastic. This company is not producing good quality products anymore. They lost it.

Bought this pack to replace the one I've been wearing for a couple years. Unfortunately looks like looks like it has been redesigned. As a result, the main zipper lost a full inch in length (opening went from over 9 in to 8 in) and does not allow for easy access for standard size iPhone. The strap has also been redesigned and lost quarter of an inch in width so it's flimsy. Returning it. Please reconsider this new design.

Nice bag, small but functional, has a spot for everything. My big disappointment is the cell phone slot, it is not deep enough, the phone can easily slip out, I almost lost my phone.

Like the previous design much better. Returned because the opening of this new design is too narrow. Not partical.

I have been using Mantis for many years and im very disappointed with this new model , instead of doing a better product you did a worse one . The zipper length space is smaller and i can not put my iphone pro max easily inside as with the previous Mantis , also the textile layer you added in the middle of the main pocket gets stucked when trying to put the mobile phone inside ( i had to swew it to the front part so i can insert the mobile properly, what a disappointment i don't understand why you went backwards with the design. Also the waist belt and clip is way thinner, lets see how it performs.

So small, the stitching is so bad compared to the old model mantis 1 . Had to return it. I expected the same as my old mantis 1 in a different color. It came right color . But the new model is terrible compared to the new. The front small pocket is useless because of the way they stitched the bag

I'm not really a murse type of guy, but I needed a bag to carry my essentials while travelling in Thailand. After using the Mantis 1 for two weeks, I will never again travel without it. It's sized just right. I often forgot I was carrying it. It can hold everything I need for a day of exploring. It has two main compartments and a handy zipped compartment within one of those. This 'secret' compartment is ideal for travel valuablescash, driver's license, passport, etc. The best feature is the phone sleeve in the back of the bag. It holds my iPhone securely, well hidden and easily accessible. I never thought I'd be this excited about a murse!!
