The 2023 edition is my third Aerios pack. I still have (and use) the first two, but decided to pick up the green/blue colourway combo. I love this pack for three reasons. When I trail run, I find the 15L size is just big enough to support carrying mixed-weather gear but not big enough that I'll find something else to stuff in there (and then regret it later). But the real reason why I keep coming back to the Aerios packs is the pockets in the chest straps. With each strap having both a vertical zip pocket and stuff-able (top-down) pocket....you won't realize how much easier your outdoor pursuits get when you can continue to focus on pace, navigation or scenery as opposed to stopping and rooting around wondering where you put that energy bar. It's right there! - on your chest! Suddenly you realize the world makes sense again and you'll never go back to not having this feature. Which brings me to my last reason for writing this review - the same chesty pockets are just as useful in urban life. Ride a bike to work? What you need is...right there! Reach in and grab it! Walk to work? No need to cram your pants pockets with your daily EDC. Just like to stay organized in all your backpacky affairs? Rather spend your time focused on the lovely scene around or would you rather stop, flip your pack around to unzip and find that widget? It's easy to fall in love with this pack.

I got this pack for a trip to California. I was going to be doing a variety of activities from hiking to climbing. I was able to fit a couple extra layers, more food than I needed. The two side pouches were perfect for my 1L Nalgene bottles. I chose to clip them to the pack with a carabiner to ensure they didn't fall out. The running vest-like shoulder straps are incredibly comfortable and make for great storage for phones, bear spray and snacks! My one complaint would be that the sternum starps loosen very very easily. I found myself having to tightne them a dozen times throughout a 8 hour hike. I even lost one while takling the pack off as they come undone way too easily.

I have been using this pack for hiking, multi pitch climbing, and scrambles. It is small and lightweight yet packs a punch with how much it can hold. I love the pockets on the chest for water, snacks, etc. it fits everything I need with easy to access spots. my new favorite activity backpack.

Like the other reviewer said, there are two portholes at the top of the pack for the bladder hose and a hanging clip loop system in the pack to hang the bladder. I added a Velcro molle panel from BuiltRight Ind to keep the bladder from swaying, allowing me to attach additional items to the molle for quick access. It's a perfect fit to a perfect pack!

Bought this for a trip to Colorado/Wyoming. Haven't used it yet but the fit is great and so light hardly know it's on my back.

Basically a faultless pack for day use. I've used it hiking, running, skiing, climbing, mountaineering. Super light, great pockets and most importantly doesn't move about on your back when doing activity. Bit expensive as this size bag goes but 100% worth it in my opinion

Love this pack and the pockets on the outside, size, comfort, but the chest straps constantly slipping and having to be pulled to tighten them is quite annoying. Wish there was something to stop this while I am running/hiking.

I really like this pack. I've only used it for a couple day hikes so far and it is perfect size, lightweight, and appears to be durable. It adjusts the fit well and stabilizes contents and I plan to use for trail running. I like the pockets on the straps and sides. My only issue is it does not have a sleeve inside to secure and protect a water bladder.

While this pack looks great in silver and has the unique Aerios ultrarunning sternum vest, there's no hydration bladder sleeve and no portal through which to thread a hydration hose. This is ridiculous! I dinged it one star for these design flaws and another star because ArcTeryx ought to know better. If you are going to charge a premium for your brand, then your products ought to be "best in breed". This one isn't.
