Honestly one of the best backpack I've ever bought. Persuaded about 5 of my friends to get one too because I don't stop talking about it- and they all love it too. It fits so much in there, it's marked as 26L but feels more like a 35L. It just seems to fit everything + more. It has lots of compartments that are so useful, including a key holder, trinket pocket and adjustable mesh bottle holders. It's also compatible with hydration bladders, but the internal pocket is great for a laptop too. I also have a weak shoulder due to injury, and most backpacks are quite uncomfortable for me. But, I've had no issues with this one- it's made carrying all my stuff on my daily commute so much easier.

My son struggled for months to find and choose the "perfect" backpack. He loves this one! Spacious, durable and stylish! It's exactly what he needed. Very much worth the price

We've purchased several from the Mantis series, including the 1, 2, 16, and now the 26. The 26 is an excellent bag. The outer two pockets are well designed and hold a deceptive amount of gear. Love the face fabric used. Light, but very durable. All in all, this is an excellent bag. Only thing is I wish they'd borrow from the inner sleeve organization from the Granville and Arro series (with the laptop sleeve and zip pocket). Would make this an even better bag.

I love the Mantis 26! I used it as a personal item for my week long trip to europe and it worked out so well. For a backpack that was filled with so much, it fit perfectly under the seat in-front of me in the airplane and the compartments made organization very easy. I used it as a weekend backpack as well, and it fit pjs, an extra outfit, toiletries, and a book perfectly. Will be using this for future weekend trips!

One of the best packs I've ever had! I purchased the pack for a family trip to Europe and after reviewing packs from all makers of this size range, I chose to purchase the Mantis 26. I've had the pack for about a month now and it's been full to the brim with books, water bottles, diapers, electronics, kids toys etc. no matter how heavy the pack has been, it's been surprisingly comfy! Never once have I felt uncomfortable when the bags been fully loaded, not once! I was somewhat doubtful based on its perceived "few" pockets or storage area but this pack is really thought out and very well designed. The fabric is also durable and kept my belongings dry in a few downpours we had while caught out on long walks. For our family of 4 and even if it was solely used by me, I'm so happy with my purchase. Thank you for another wonderful product Arc'teryx!

Great backpack. This is my first backpack in Arcteryx. But I'm surprised to get this back because it's a good size and really lightweight.

The material is nice and I love using it for everyday use. I highly recommend!

I mainly use backpacks for travel and I have used 4 different backpacks at this point. The Mantis 26 is the best backpack I've used for travel. I recently went to Japan with this backpack and it checked all my requirements. The main opening is big enough to fit everything we needed for 2 people. It's nice that it can zip down to almost a clam-shell style so it's easier to grab things. The shoulder straps have lots of padding so they were comfortable the whole time I wore it. At first, I thought the plastic interior on the back of the backpack would bother me but it turned out to be a great benefit as it protected my back from anything hard in my backpack that may poke me such as an umbrella. It has 2 water bottle holders which is great since I can carry for 2 people. The side pockets provide extra room to carry more things that don't get in the way of the main pocket. The backpack also looks great. The only small downside I have with this bag is the long straps that hang down.

Changed from north face borealis , for first look looks better and have very good quality, but time show everything

EXCELLENT !every day bag for me especially commuting going to work. Perfectly fits my knife bag and extra shirt on it. I can also put my Arc'teryx jacket inside.. One thing I love the most on these bag are there's a lot compartment features in it that I can put on my some other stuff like head phone and my portable charger. May be soon I'll try to used and try this on a hiking trip. But as of the moment I really like for my work bag. Oh lastly, the strap below is useful for me especially when I'm bringing my work clogs at work I just fine with me. Very ergonomic. Well done

Overall, a really nice backpack. My daughter loves it for school. Hope you make more school friendly backpacks ,the size is great would be nice if you could make a 30L like this as well . Or even deeper to fit more textbooks in in the 26 L

Very comfortable, lots of convenient pockets, nice build.

This pack is built well, and nicely designed, the different pockets provide a tone of sorted storage room for all you different things. Ive just used it to travel but can see it being a great day pack or overnight pack for hikes etc.

great product very very durable and sturdy perfect for school and commuting has a bunch of good pockets and space for books laptop etc, took the waist strap for school but works perfectly without it. highly recommend and also looks very stylish

I bought this for comminuting for work and school but was able to use it for camping and hiking Mt Townsend in Washington State. The simple design and having plenty of room to fit my jacket, food/snacks an two water bottles was great and having the small pocket to hold my wallet and keys was amazing. This backpack is versatile and being able to use it for multiple activities .
