I don't know what Clarks did but these are terrible now. They used to be a great shoe and now even the wides are way too narrow.

I've purchased Clarks shoes for over 20 years. The two pair I ordered aren't of the same quality I received in the past. The two pair I ordered this time looked almost identical to my current pair, but they are of less quality. Further, I have always ordered 10.5 Medium and these pairs are much too tight. I will be returning these shoes.

I like the shoe, but felt 1/2, or even 1, size too small, so will return these and order the next size up.

This is the 3 rd pair of these shoes I bought for my husband. True to size and comfortable. He uses his old pairs around the house and keeps his new pair for going out, casual and business wear. Its like slippers and great comfort slip ons.,

I used to love Clark shoes but it seems like the quality has taken a very steep nosedive. I didnt even have a chance to wear this pair at the office before the stitching started to come apart. Ill be doing my business elsewhere. I want only quality shoes that last for several years and dont just end up in the trash after a handful of months.
