Fit perfect. Great to wear in house for proper support as opposed to crocs.

Great shoes! They are extremely comfortable and good support. I wear them walking my dogs. Trails and sidewalks. One thing I didn't quite like was the look, they need a little snazzing up. But still adore them otherwise.

These shoes are lightweight and sturdy, but I wish they didnt flip up at the toes so much. I believe our feet function best when the whole foot is in touch with the ground when standing. We have an ankle joint to help us roll through when walking!

I had to return them. I need a wide fit shoe. That style does not come in a wide. I have two other pair of Oboz and that fit well, and I wear all the time.

I have been looking for a rugged shoe for my daily walks and shorter hikes. Most shoes are my worn out within 6 months. Ive had a pair of Oboz boots for the past 3 years, and they are still in remarkable shape; hoping these shoes will be more durable.

I tore up my knee and need really good shoes for my daily walks. Oboz are my #1 choice. No pain when I wear them. And they look nice, too.

Loved the shoe, but had to return as I ordered them a half size too small. That is not a fault of the product, I was being overambitious about how thick my socks were. They felt great, looked great, and though I ended up in a different model of OBOZ shoes in the correct size, I have only good things to say about the Ousel Low.

I love the inner soles, how they keep my foot bed aligned (it likes to roll out if Im not paying attention). I decided to replace my Brooks Ghost (my go to for walking the dog in my neighborhood ) for the Ousel to see if Id like them as a daily walking shoe. It took about a week to get used to them, and now they are serving my wonderfully!

These shoes are too loose-fitting throughout the ankle area. They were not as supportive as I was hoping for. Therefore, I needed to return them for a refund.

My favorite all time hiking and backpacking shoes are the Sawtooth II's .....but..... the Ouzel is amazing! They were comfy from the moment I put them on. They are lighter than the Sawtooths, but still have enough support for most of my adventures. I wear them at the office and then for a hike after work. I really gave them a workout climbing Morne Gimie, the tallest mountain in St. Lucia. They gave great grip even when wet and muddy. Still comfy and supportive when wet and muddy. No heel slippage. Well done, Oboz!

This shoe is sturdy, has good support, good looking. I don't see on the listing that is say "low" (maybe I'm missing it) but the slip that came with the shoe says "low" I think the low part is what isn't working for me. The shoe is indeed lower than my other hiking shoes ad that makes my heel slip in the back when I walk. I wish it worked for me, but it doesn't. I will be more aware of the shape of the shoe in the back when I order something else.

I bought my new Oboz to replace the pair Id owned and worn for 10 years. I had a chance to field test my new hikers on a trip I just took to Taos. We went on a few fairly intense (for me) hikes, with elevation changes of 800-1000, in conditions from rocky/gravely surfaces to muddy and some minor creek crossings. I opted against the waterproof version of the Ousel, and just sprayed my new shoes with a waterproofing product after I received them. They did fine with a little bit of water/mud, and in addition I felt that the shoe was more breathable. Also, I did not break in my shoes at all before hiking, they were comfortable when I first put them on and after hiking five miles!

The Ousel shoes is great. Normally I wear an 8 1/2 (or 39) but sent back for a 9 (or 40). That was perfect. I needed the extra bit in the toe box area. Very comfortable with good arch support.

Really love these shoes! I was surprised at the comfort right out of the box. I tested them on a six mile hike and they felt great. No areas that rubbed or other hot spots. Love the lighter weight material for summer hiking. Sherry J 2022 Over50Outside Participant 2023 Over50Outside Mentor

I ordered a half size smaller and they fit perfectly! I like the low heel drop. When I walk now, my back isn't hurting. They fit like my first pair of Oboz did years ago, which I still use in the winter here in Vermont.

The shoe was too narrow. If it were wide enough, I would still need to purchase more comfortable inner soles. It is an attractive shoe. I wish it has worked for me.

Since I couldn't find my favorite hiking shoes of all time on the Bean site any longer, I tried these. I had heard good things about Oboz, so thought they might work. And they do. But not nearly as well. For one thing, the sides are cut lower, so they don't give as much support. And they just aren't as sturdy. I can't imagine using them for any hike longer than about five miles. The laces come untied constantly unless you double-knot them. They are supposedly waterproof, but not sure I'd trust them. They do have good, grippy outsoles.

I have never had a 7.5 shoe feel as small as this shoe. It feels like at least a full size smaller than a 7.5. Very tight around the toes and sides of foot.
