These hikers are comfortable, ankle and heel supportive and accommodate all ten toes. This is my 3rd pair. After several months the back side heels do wear down and it's time for new ones.

They are very comfortable, the only thing is they don't have the arch support that my previous pair of Oboz had. I used the inserts from my old pair and these are comfortable enough to wear all day.

I already own sawtooth mid. Got the Katabatic for summer. Sold is a little less aggressive. But they feel great. I did notice they are just slightly longer than my sawtooth. Im sizing down a half size for that reason.

Love Oboz shoes. This is my sixth pair. Love them all. Fit is true to size. Support is great.

I like the wider foot bed or at least it seems like there is more room for my toes than previous pairs. Worked great on muddy trails.

Love my boots. Great for hiking and for living in a temperate rainforest

I have just used them twice just for a walk and they were very comfortable. I look forward to hiking in them.

The Katabatic Mid has it all - lightweight ultimate comfort from day one with the well-built feel Oboz is known for. These are the first lightweight hikers I've owned that I was able to comfortably walk 10+ miles in the first time I put them on my feet while still feeling like the shoes will actually last me a long time. After a full season of heavy use, from long day hikes to multi-day adventures, the Katabatics are still in "new" condition and ready for many more large outings in Montana's backcountry! Did I mention they're cute too? They truly have it all.

I am only about 10 miles in with these, but they are already treating me well! I love the structure of the mid rise with how light they are. Climbing over rocks and trees on the trail is easy and I know my feet will stay protected. Plus, they're pretty great looking!
