I have been using Smartwool socks primarily for hiking in the last 20 years, but have recently started shifting my day to day socks over from cotton to wool. I've purchased some other brands of wool socks from various retailers, but they never seem as comfortable. What I love about these socks is that they offer a little extra cushion on the bottom/heal/toes, and thinner on top. These socks increase my feet comfort ALL day long. From going into the office and traveling, I love them for everything. Any time I buy new shoes now, I only want to wear wool socks because then my shoes don't stink! Like taking my shoes off on the plane was a no-no before, but now I have the freedom and don't have to worry if I offend others. That's the joy of wool!!

comfortable, great fit

These are the best socks out for everyday wear that are good enough for casual, runs or HIIT workouts. They also last a really long time, targeted cushion without the bulk and resist odors. I wish the original white and grey color options and other more traditional color combinations were still available.

Very soft socks and keep feet warm. I never put them in dryer so they will not shrink and stay soft.

A few runs in and they have held up well. Breathable and toe fit is nice. Time will tell if the mix of materials is as durable as expected.

These socks are great for cold weather days, especially just for bumming around in the house. I gave them to my partner for Christmas, and he loved them. They wash easily too.

I use these socks on every run, and when I'm on my feet for an extended amount of time for work. The light cushion improves the comfort of any shoe, and the padded back prevents any sort of rubbing or blistering on my achilles. I've ordered every color, and even doubles!
