Wear them for mountain biking. Comfortabl, no rub, snug fit. Wick nicely. A bit more stylin' than the old box store specials Im replacing.

I Get athlete's foot really easily from sweaty feet. I have switched all my socks to smart wool and the problem has vastly improved

Recreational/touring cyclist - it has been getting harder to find "traditional" ankle socks, nice that Smartwool still makes them. I've ridden with them a few times already - good fit, comfortable in the hot, humid weather here in KCMO.

Good-quality wool socks. I find they wear out and develop holes in the heel or toebox area within 6-9 months of repeated use so buy enough pairs to last you or purchase more running ankle socks like I do which have more padding and tend to last longer (also more comfy on those 5-6 hr epics).

I am on my feet all day. They tend to slip off when removing my boots.
