Very comfortable- all the time. Decided to purchase the other three leather colors based on first pair being so comfortable. Easy on, easy off with the open top eyelets. Anti-fatigue inner soles are phenomenal for all day/night wear. Using two pair of socks on cold days/nights keeps your feet very warm. These are an excellent value when you can catch Timberland's sale price. The Pro's are best for heavy work and toe protection. The Madssen's are best all the other times. Long walks with the dogs of a couple miles or 5 miles +...not a problem in the Madssen's. They run slightly larger which was fine for me as I usually wear two pair of socks on cold days. If you doubt you will ever have a need to wear two pair of socks then purchase 1/2 size smaller.

Bought first time mainly because they are waterproof and leather. Have a farm with horses and barn. Needed something that would stand up to barn environment and wet conditions but also look good to wear in public and be comfortable. Wear them every day and year round, just bought my third pair.

This is my third pair of these. I bought them again without hesitation. As a park ranger who spends daily work in the swamps, wetlands, and trails in SWFL, I need reliable and comfortable boots that will last a good while. These have never let me down #sweepstakes

Wear for hiking in mountain forest, good weather as well as rain and snow. Also, wear around neighborhood when there is deep snow. Keeps the feet surprisingly warm in cold weather. Definitely waterproof. Sturdy and wears well.

Very reliable overall shoe -- looks good enough to wear to work in an office and great for trudging through all kinds of weather conditions when hiking and out walking the dog. I've been through several pairs -- they last for years until the soles finally wear down to a fine shine with zero tread. #sweepstakes

Wide was perfect. Usually a regular but feeling the squeeze in last few years of Timberland Chocoruas. These are comfortable right out of the box. Look good. Good support when walking my usual 8 miles a day. The laces are obnoxious, thin, and slippery. They bounce back when I try to lace up so I usually end up having to redo a boot because it's tighter than the other. I preferred my old thick laces that came with the discontinued Chocoruas because they kind of gripped to itself as you laced. I'll be replacing them with store bought. Purchase and shipping came with almost no communication. Until I contacted customer support as to why I had a charge but the 2 day shipping was so far 7 days delayed. It was a holiday issue with the warehouse and then forgiven.

Been buying this Mt Madsen for 10 years. None other. Because of comfort and durability. Was buying them for the first 10 years from Academy, then they became"Always out of Stock of this style." I dont bother to go there anymore for shoes. Id rather buy from the factory and know I can get them. A pair last me about a year, and I wear them every day. Only thing is, I wish they still had the reddish brown dressier model of Mt Madsen. I always keep a dress pair for going out and the ones I use for work every day. Also a great shoe if you have allergy feet. Every since I started wearing Mt Madsen shoes, My feet have become unabused and are baby soft now, because of being all leather work shoes. Best thing is, they wont break the bank, like Red Wings will. Thanks, Friends at Timberland, for a great product.

I bought the first pair at the suggestion of a podiatrist. I needed ankle high support for work. I'm in and out of mechanical rooms and they have proven comfortable and not too hot even in the heat of a North Carolina summer. I also appreciate that they are waterproof.

My husband is super picky about shoes and as soon as he put them on he said he could wear them all the time. They were so comfortable.

This is my second pair and I only replaced them because they were too roughed-up to wear out. Great fit and great looking boot. Stylish enough for a casual date with jeans yet really rugged.

From the moment I slipped the boots on, I felt as if I was floating. The material and styling matched my wish! I wear these boots every chance I get, which these days is just about every day. I am thrilled even when I'm walking in them. These boots exceeded all expectations. I got to the Timberland site every day. I can't wait to discover more amazing products.

I walk the desert in the Phoenix area. Since purchasing these boots I have put on about 100 miles in the summer heat and cooler weather now. Boots are very comfortable, sturdy, good looking. I bought my regular size and they fit perfectly. Down hill no toe bang. Easy to lace up to lock the heal down.

I have worn these boots since the 90's. The have always been comfortable to wear and very durable. They are also lightweight which is why I wear them daily. They have replaced my sneakers. Best boots I've ever owned.

Bought my dad new boots for work since the ones he had were all worn-out. He usually doesn't buy Timberland but I got these for him and he loved them. He found them comfortable and not bulky or heavy. He's already thinking of buying another pair to have as a spare. He's a Timberland fan now because of these boots.

They are very comfortable boots so far. They are lighter than expected for hiking boots but still feel sturdy. I run between a 10 1/2 and 11 but I got an 11 just to be safe. Can't comment on durability yet but they seem sturdy.

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I have bought many pairs in black and brown. They are not for hiking or backpacking because the sole is so soft. Need much stronger sole for the rougher terrain.

I bought these for a young man who has to walk to work. We have a lot of snow in our area . He will be able to keep his feet dry and they are nice enough to wear while he is at work . He was very happy with them and said they are very comfortable .
