Got these for the more low key hikes/adventures + comfy, good tread, wide toe box - laces are a lil 2 slippery/short (easy fix)

I bought the kind of navy blue WW MTE-1s at the beginning of 2023. 6+ months later and I STILL love them. Aside from the "normal" stuff, these are the shoes I ride in. MTB on trails, MTB downhill, MTB DJ, MTB racing at BMX tracks, even MTB at the skatepark. All in these shoes. @VANS please keep these going, and offer up something besides beige and gray (current offerings). I wear these more now than I do my SK8-HIs, my low customs More than any other shoe, even more than my Docs. \_()_/

I got these for hiking. These shoes were extremely comfortable, durable, and had a great grip.

I wear these as an every-day shoe with a lot of standing and walking. The most comfortable pair of Van's I've owned. Fit true to size.

They are working great. I use them in an automotive shop and they have been holding up. Have great traction and look awesome. Will be buying more. Great shoe.

Got these for a 10 day 7 city adventure in Europe. From Italy, Switzerland, France, England then Spain. They were very comfortable. Held up great in walking, hiking, standing, sightseeing, long bus rides, airports, beaches and especially on old cobblestone streets . My feet were always dry and ready for the next place.

I bought these in Montreal because I needed them right away, and was traveling. Absolutely fantastic! If you have wide feet, they don't stretch as much as old skools. They look and feel great. I've walked a ton in these with no issues. The reaction is good. Maybe not enough for serious hiking in slippery environments...but good for 95% of anything. Hight recommend.

There's a lot to love about these shoes. The intentionality of the design features create a shoe that has immense utility.

Comfy insoles that formed to my average arch, within a couple wears. Stitching started fraying after 2-3 wears. Fun color combo, wet weather functional

I use them for work as a plumber. After work as a casual shoe and in trails. Could be more durable and toe box could be wider. Otherwise love them

Love these shoes. Only issues are the narrow toe box and that they only made the gray color way available in women's sizes. I have not worn them hiking or disc golfing yet but have worn them in other conditions and they're still comfortable even though they're somewhat narrow. They will soon be replacing the shoes I disc golf with and I'll get another pair for for just walking around.

I've owned these for about a month and an half and worn them a lot! The toe box is tight and the way the it is reinforced and designed it doesn't really break in that much after wearing for a while. They still fit me fine but definitely would have liked to know ahead of time they wouldn't break in very much in that area. (I am unable to wear them with my thicker socks.) I was hoping to wear these for long walks this spring and summer but after about 2 miles they are no longer comfortable at all and cause pain. The insoles are glued in and not that supportive. I still like the shoes but I will be wearing them for shorter walks which kind of sucks because that's not what I bought them for. Pros: look nice, the laces stay tied and feel high quality, I like the traction on the sole (it squeaks a lot at first but after one wear on pavement it goes away) Overall a bit disappointed. I absolutely love my mte destruct shoes and was hoping these would be just as great. These shoes might work great for someone else, but for me they missed the mark.

Using these exclusively for disc golf & street wear OMW to & from . After my first few times out in them they seemed just about perfect for these uses for me. They're super comfy, sizing is what I'd expect, tread works great on grass, hard pack, mud, logs, gravel, rocks, & dry concrete/asphalt (not too great on wet/damp asphalt tee pads however). Based on this they'd get a 4.5 of 5 for me but unfortunately over the last week the tread is coming unglued under inside edge of the ball of the left shoe & is getting worse w/ each use. Going to contact CS to see what they'll do for me, if anything. I'd expect a whole lot better durability for the price of these & based on the several pair of Ultrarange Mesh & a pair of Exos I've had over the past several years. Hopefully this is just an isolated QA problem w/ this pair.

I bought these shoes earlier this year and used them for a couple trips where we would be walking a lot. They arrived in a slightly mushed box and one toe box was slightly bent. However, they held up great for the first two months and then, I started to notice them falling apart? The midsole has started to separate from the outsole on both sides. This was after just a couple months of light to moderate use. Mainly used them for vacation and outdoor trips, but nothing that would put great strain on them. The worst part is, I REALLY want to like these shoes! Breathable, yet comfortable, especially on longer walks. Plus, they look sweet! But the hard truth I'm faced with is that I paid a premium for a really nice pair of UltraRanges, and they started to fall apart faster than any other shoe I've bought from Vans, even lower priced UR's.
