I own a lot of smartwool winter baselayers and love them, so I thought l'd try some lighter summer shirts. I like that they are mostly merino wool. They are really lightweight, soft and incredibly comfortable. They also breathe really well. I'm very happy with the fit. So many shirts lately are way too long. Not sure why the industry went that way but it's really annoying. These shirts do run small so size up, unless you like the tight fit look. For a t-shirt I feel like they are too expensive, so l get them when they are on sale. The only negative I have is the large stiff tags sewn on the inside. I always take a seam ripper and carefully remove them. Very happy with them overall. Longevity tip, don't dry them in a dryer. Just let them hang dry. They're so lightweight it doesn't take long.

I've purchased this base layer before and is my go to on almost every ride except the during the winter when I go with the long sleeve. Soft, wicks away sweat well and is very odor resistant. I like the variety of color choices. Would definitely buy again and again.

I'm adding a print to this to make a super fancy bespoke shirt it has to be comfy, so it has to be Smartwool.

I just purchased my 3rd everyday shirt. I had been waiting for a sale, but the good colors rarely go on sale. Super comfortable shirt with a very nice cut for someone of a trim build. Check your new shirt closely as quality control is NOT a strong suit of smartwool. If you get a good one, it will be one of your favorites.

I wore this for a bluebird spring ski day.

Nice weight for little warmer weather, plan to use on a trip to Europe for many days of wear before requiring a wash. Had to return the Smalls for Mediums. Husband is 67 y.o. 5'8', 145# and average build, not muscular, but not overweight.

The price is a bit high but the quality is good. The photos make it look larger than reality unless you're looking for a stretched fit.

I have bought several of these T-shirts. They are my favorite because they feel good and can be worn for multiple days without the typical stink of polyester or cotton shirts.

Super comfortable! I love the tie dye color. I wish they had them in medium but the small seems to fit well. Hopefully it doesn't shrink in the wash too much!

These (and the long-sleeved counterpart) are the only shirts I wear. Nothing compares!
