Would give these boots 5 stars but only had then for a month - very comfortable (I have a hard time finding shoes that don't slip at the heel) look good with khakis or jeans!

I bought these for my husband who needed new hiking boots and he loves them. They are comfortable, offer good ankle support, waterproof and have good traction on the soles. Everything you are looking for in a good hiking boot. We did buy a half size up as the website recommended and they fit perfectly. I would highly recommend Forsake to anyone looking for a great outdoor activity shoe. #sweepstakes

I agree that some other reviews are correct that these felt a bit narrow at first. If you have wider feet they may not be right for you. However, I've had mine for about a month now and they're great! Once I wore them in, they fit my feet nicely and are warm in cold weather. They'll do well, even in the colder Minnesota winters.

Pretty comfortable and dependable waterproofing for wet grassy dog walks. I keep 'em loose so I can just pull them on and slip them off, but have also tied them for more active walks or small hikes. Maybe a little narrower than similar shoes but it's not uncomfortable, just adds to the snugness and appropriate fit.

I bought these boots in preparation for a hiking trip in California. They worked great.

Supremely comfortable and flexible snug fit, good ankle support for walking/hiking. Feet are breathing. Boots are true to their size. I got size 11, and that's what they are not squishing my toes, but just right. Could easily spend the day hiking in them. Lightweight, so slippage.

This was the first pair of of Forsake boots I've seen in person. I love the look and they did not disappoint in that department upon arrival. Great style and well made. However, I found that the boots are much too narrow for my foot. Please please please make these in Wide or at least with a wider toebox. I would try another pair immediately.

Excellent shoes for every day walking, whether you are getting into more difficult terrain or just walking the dog through the park. Comfortable and keep my socks dry when it's raining.

I have to say, I'm a big Forsake fan. I stumbled upon them first in some mountain store in Stowe, VT, and I've been getting boots from them for years. This pair of shoes is right up there with my favorites. The main things I like is that I find them quite comfy from minute one. They look sharp, and they are def waterproof. I wear them mainly for winter New England wear and walking around city streets and neighborhoods. But I'm sure they'll be great when I wear them in the woods. They are also lightweight, which is great because many pairs of hiking boots are not so light. Mine have creased a little after not much wear, but that's okay, they're meant to be worn.

The boot runs very narrow. I'd recommend sizing up a full size from what you normally wear.

It's a good looking shoe, but it's just too narrow to be comfortable. I ordered an 11.5, which is my normal size, and exchanged it for a 12 which was also too narrow

I've bought a lot of boots over the years and these are by far the most uncomfortable, narrow boots I've ever purchased. Was not my first pair from Forsake but will be my last because of their no return policy. They actually have a return policy but not one that makes any sense. Unless you are going to make a boot that fits like it should, how else are we supposed to see if it will work without wearing it besides indoors on carpet? Love the brand but can't support it anymore. Just too much completion out there with other great brands with better return policies.

I bought these black boots because I'm going on vacation to Europe for a month and I wanted to make sure I had boots for the start of winter and the humidity in the terrain. They are really comfortable and my size is perfect.

Bought these for my Dad's trip to Alaska and he loved them! Kept him warm and dry and said they were super comfortable with no need to break in. Also had a very good experience with customer service during the purchase process. Highly recommend Forsake shoes and company!

The boot itself is, as always, made to the highest quality. Forsake always makes a great boot. However, their definition of "normal" width leaves a little to be desired. Additionally, the lack of width sizing still proves to be an issue. I purchased my typical sizing, but the boots made my feet go numb (never had that happen in any shoe before) in about 2 minutes because they were so narrow. I don't have wide feet. Normal width shoes are sometimes too wide. So...this "normal" width boot was more narrow than typical shoes. Which, again raises the issue of not providing multiple width options. I returned the original pair and ordered a half-size up, which at present, seems to be just fine. I think once they break-in, I'll feel a little better. They still feel a little tight, but if I went up a whole size, they would have been too long.

I normally wear a 10, but a 10 didn't fit me because they were too small. I exchanged them for an 11 and they fit fine. The shoes run a little narrow

Very comfy boots, they look sharp too but after wearing them for a couple days the comfort really stands out. They are light enough to wear doing other things too so not limited to just hiking. Would recommend these!
