I was disappointed how thin this is not warm enough for me and a little to pricey

Looks nice. It's a gift for my daughter in law for Christmas. Can't respond yet. Love your socks so expect she will like it!

I usually don't like wool at my neck but this is wonderful - soft and not itchy!

This was for my husband who likes how it keeps the wind out. He said it was a little itchy.

Keeps my neck wonderfully warm when I go walking in the morning, not too tight, not too loose.

i like wearing neck gaiters when the temperature turns cold. I wear them inside the house as well as outside. I believe keeping my neck warm contributes to a healthy immune system. I have a number of Smartwool gaiters in different colors and will most likely be buying more in the future.

I bought a SW neck gaiter a few years ago. I guess I didn't read well enough. This is super lightweighht, more like sun protection, and not warm at all even if I double it. Feels very nylon-y. I bought two and feel like I wasted a lot of money.

I recently lost a Smartwool gaiter that I'd had for years. It had been one of my favorite pieces of gear for well over a decade but I thought no problem I'll just get another one. I didn't even consider another brand. Well, the new one I received was incredibly disappointing. The quality has really plummeted. Instead of 100% wool it's a blend. The weight is very thin and chintzy and for some reason it's twice as long as the old one but the fabric doesn't have enough body to stay up on its own so it just puddles around your neck. It's also got a ludicrously large plastic tag inside that even if cut out would still leave you with a stub scratching at your neck. Why????
