They are so cute, but too loose in the heel. I couldn't make them work even with thicker sox.

Maybe it's just the way my feet are shaped, but the first eyelet on the outer side of the left shoe don't have padding underneath and ends up rubbing my foot. I like the way the shoes look; however, I won't be wearing them as long or as often as I'd hoped.

These are beautiful and well made shoes, but......... the back rim of the shoes grabs at my ankle socks and pulls them down so they go under my heel. I can only wear socks that are low enough to be below that tab and they are hard to find. I am hoping I will break them in enough to that this will stop from happening as it is annoying and uncomfortable. Not sure if anyone else has had this happen.

Very attractive shoe but it didn't work for me. The leather is very nice and I liked the blue color a lot. I called before ordering to see if insole was removable so I could insert my orthotics. They said yes so I ordered them. I had problems with the fit. The heel slipped with every step which often happens for me. I have a very narrow heel. If the last lace hole was placed a little father back the heel fit may have been better.

I love the way these look, but the fit seems off. I am a true size 6M, but the shoes were a bit short in the toe and I also ended up with chafing at the top of the foot. I will have to return them.

They are a bit stiff and don't have much support. I liked the color and quality of the leather but not sure if they will ever be really comfortable.

The shoes are not leather. They are very stiff, and difficult to get on. Once on, the tongue is stiff, but the fit is fine. Will keep these, but I will not order them again.

I bought these shoes several weeks ago and , while I love the look, I cannot wear them. Here's why: the height of the back of the shoe is too high and rubs against the top of my heel, making it raw and uncomfortable. I wish they would reconfigure the shoe so that the top of the heel is not so high. Unfortunately I cannot return them because I have worn them a few times. I'm very disappointed in them and in LLBEan for selling such a product.

After a few weeks, still staining socks green. Comfy, tho.

Bought these to replace my size 8M Stone Coast Comfort shoes I purchased a few years ago and I really but are no longer available. I purchased size 8 and size 8.5 Eco Bay Oxfords. Both sizes were snug and uncomfortable with no arch support.

Cute shoe. BUT, if you want a blue like the picture looks, don't order. Called "Slate/Cool Sea Blue" it is gray (or totally slate) there is no cool sea blue to the color. Picture is not a true reflection of the real color. The sole felt strange causing my foot to turn inwards, not comfortabel. Sorry, returning.

The shoe was cute and well made. The fit was strange; it was too narrow, top to bottom. The laces all the way down to the toe were pressing down on the top of my feet and making it feel as if someone were stepping on my foot. I've never had much fit-issues with that part of the shoe before, so I cannot say I'd recommend these.

Beautiful shoes, however i will be returning them. They slip in the heels even with heavier socks.

Sad to have to return these, as they are cute and what I've been looking for, but the toe box is way too narrow.

These shoes feel "cheap". They have no arch and are stiff. Regret keeping them.

This shoe does not fit me well. I'm in the process of returning the pair. It could have had more cushioning. I like the shape, color and appreciated the extra shoelaces included with the order. It's seldom I've returned any orders to you over the years.

Really liked the color combo - Width was good (I'm a Narrow), but heels slipped and top of toes were hitting top of shoe - so I Returned them

Had to return. Liked the look but..toe box was wide enough but not high enough and when compared to other shoes, the difference was noticeable.

I bought these about two years ago. The worst part about this shoe is the back edge of the heel (I believe it's called the collar). It is not padded and has a sharp edge which in results in it rubbing against and digging into the ankle. It's very uncomfortable and has not gotten better with time. The men's version of this shoe has a nice cushioned, padded collar edge so I'm not entirely sure why women's version does not. The other issue is that the actual heel structure is breaking down in my shoe. It's made of some sort of plastic material and it has completely broken apart and is crumbling within the lining and the pieces shift around and poke into my heel. The crumbling pieces have even started to come out of the actual lining into the shoe. This is with minimal, non-daily wear. This has made the shoes pretty much unwearable. These shoes would not have lasted a year with daily wear.

I really wanted to like these shoes. The color, fit (size) and material were great. When I put them on they were very uncomfortable until I walked in them. The inside lining is in two pieces sewn together which results in a seam at the back of the heel. This seam rubbed my heel with and without socks and moved enough when walking to bunch up. I would have had blisters in no time.

In the past I have loved LLBean's sneakers in this style, and was excited to have this more upscale pair in nubuck. However, they have changed the cut. The back of the shoe is now a good bit lower, and has a seam inside and it absolutely rubs my heel raw. I'd already worn them by the time I realized this, so I can't return them. See photo for comparison of heel height in back. Also I miss the wide sizes, and I miss the removable sole so I can put inmy orthotic. Overall, they ruined a great shoe.
