These hiking shoes were a godsend on my recent trip to the Alaskan rainforest in Juneau. I had no idea that in June the weather would be in the low 50's and rainy. Our hike was a 4 hour ascent to view the Mendenhall glacier which meant slippery rocks, steep inclines, and walking through streams of water. These boots provided me with traction and kept my feet almost dry. I say almost because I literally was stepping in 6 inches of water. Others on my hike wearing sneakers, did not fare nearly as well. Thank you LL Bean, you made my trip!

Got these for an ocean cruise to Iceland and Norway. The y were comfortable and waterproof for hiking and dressy enough to still wear to dinner.

Good looking, true to size and comfortable. Shoe laces stay tied too!

I have been looking for the right sneaker for use on the roads and trails. These fit the bill. I find I am wearing them all day because they are so comfortable.

Love them! Color is a little bright, but they ran out of the color I wanted. The shoe is waterproof and I wear them every day. Also got a pair for work.

I purchased this after reading other reviews of the shoe feeling narrow. I am a 7.5 narrow and purchased a 7.5 size in this shoe and added heel cushions in each. They fit great and are very comfortable. I have been sloshing around in the snow and rain for a couple of months now with no issues or water seepage. I have not submerged them completely in a puddle and doubt that my foot would stay completely dry if I did. The rubber around the front and back of the shoes helps with keeping water out. Probably water repellant is a more apt description. I really love the shoe though-it was a great purchase. I wish LL Bean made footwear for narrow feet!

So comfy! I have a hard time finding shoes that fit my feet and my orthotics. But these shoes are a great fit! They are light and comfortable and supportive!

These shoes are comfortable and give lots of support and fits true to size. The 1st time I put them on, I went for a long walk and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to break them in first! They are now my go-to shoe to wear everyday. Extremely happy with these shoes!

Love these waterproof shoes. Bought these for our trip to Alaska. We had 2 days of rain and my feet stayed dry! A special bonus-they are very comfortable and true to size. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

These shoes were purchased for an active trip involving some on and off- path hiking. They were very comfortable, offered good support, and even looked stylish.

Most comfortable waterproof sneakers I've tried and I've tried a lot! Not stiff like some Gore Tex sneakers and very lightweight.

These are very comfortable. They are great for trails and also versatile enough to be comfortable on paved surfaces. They are also lightweight so definitely my go-to when we travel. This is the third pair I've purchased and I'm very pleased.

This is my 2nd pair of these sneakers in 3 years! They are comfortable from the minute I put them on., no need to "break" them in!!!! Will definitely stick with this particular brand and style of sneakers.
