The rubber moc is the most practical of Bean's boots for me. I live in a deep south state and do small farm work every morning. The pastures and grass are always wet, so a waterproof shoe/ boot is necessary. This slip on style is so convenient and practical. I wear a size 8 shoe and size down to a 7 and wear them with mid weight socks as recommended and they are perfect. Thank you Patsy from the Bean Boot Team for this latest pair.

Had to send them back because you don't offer half sizes. A 9 was too big and an 8 was too small

I ordered a size 7 which is too loose, then tried a size 6 which is quite tight everywhere except the heel. Ordinary socks worn for both tries. Does anyone know if these shoes stretch over time? Thanks.

I had ordered this same moc a number of years ago but returned them because they were still slipping off after sizing down, and ordered a different rain shoe that fit perfectly, but finally wore out. Since LLBean no longer carries the other rain shoe, I decided to try these again, ordering one size down as suggested. When I first tried them on they were again slipping terribly in the heel even with my thickest wool hiking socks, and thought that I would have to return them again. But then I readjusted the leather ties to pull the shoe tight against the heel and now they fit perfectly even with medium weight socks. They are very comfortable and great for general outdoor wear.

These were just what I was looking for! I have the Bean Boots, but wanted something shorter and cooler for the warmer months. I love the color and the fit was perfect.

I dropped down one size in these shoes, as suggested, and ordered them in a narrow. Since my 8" lace-up Bean Boots are the same size and fit perfectly, I kept my fingers crossed that this style would be a good fit, as well. (Sometimes narrow shoes that don't lace up are still too wide for me -- you never know.) With my "regular" socks (medium thickness) there's a small amount of heel slippage when I walk, but nothing that I think I'll even notice after they've been worn a few times. With my hefty LL Bean wool rag socks, they're a perfect fit -- no heel slippage whatsoever. I read in one of the reviews that these shoes could not be adjusted by tightening the laces, but that wasn't the case for me. The laces on my shoes were rather loose when I received them, and after working them through all the openings around the top of the shoes as much as possible and retying them, I found it made a noticeable difference in the way it felt on my foot. Granted, if a really big adjustment was needed, that probably wouldn't be possible. Bottom line, I'm thrilled with these shoes and look forward to many years of wear! (Those lace-up Bean Boots I mentioned have been my best friends for working in the yard since 2008 and still have a ton of miles left in them. You cannot go wrong with these great shoes made by Bean!)

This is the second pair of LL Bean rubber moccasins I have purchased. I love how versatile they are and how they keep my feet dry. I keep them by my door so I can easily slip them on whenever I need to go outside. When it's raining, these are what I wear for running errands. I prefer the brown & tan combination. The store was out of brown & tan in my size. My recent purchase is two shades of blue. But the good news is I got the new pair on sale.

I'm so glad I got these. I was looking for footwear I could slip into when going outside to the building next door. I tried a lot of other styles, but this one's the winner. I leave them by the front door for easy on and off. They're waterproof and my feet stay warm enough in the cold weather. I got the all black, which appears to be sold out now. Like other Bean boots, I went down a size from my regular 10 to a 9. I wear them with socks. My size comments reflect that if I'd gotten a 10, they'd be too long.

Purchased a pair of these several years ago and was delighted by how water tight they are. I wear them on rainy days and snowy days, I can walk through puddles and slush and my feet stay warm and dry. I love them so much that I just purchased a second pair in a different color combo that's more suitable for wet spring weather. These are definitely the best quality footwear I've ever owned.

They are a great fit, keep my feet dry, and the bright colors are fun and unusual.

Surprised at how comfortable these are. Work well on misty mornings to walk the dog.

Brought me back to my preppy days and I knew I had to have them. The pink and navy is especially preppy and super cute; very nostalgic color combination! They do run big, but I went ahead with my usual size anyway and anticipated wearing thicker socks, so they fit perfectly.

Very well-made, sturdy, and comfortable. I normally wear size 9 or 8.5; I ordered these in a size 8, as per the recommendation, and am happy with the fit.

I love these boots! This is my second pair, I had to purchase! My puppy chewed up my navy pair I had for 9+ years but I still wear them in my yard. I am "thrilled" with my teal/orange pair that I get quite a few compliments about! Easy to slip on and off plus I can walk IN puddles !
