I'm very pleased with this product. It's comfortable, warm ( I live in a first floor apartment, the concrete floors are cold. This shoe has kept me warm).

I ordered a 10 W and they were too short and too narrow. I returned them. Other customers have said the same but I mistakenly thought LL Bean would have read past reviews and fixed this quality control problem. Wrong. They obviously dont read the reviews, dont care or are just incompetent. I have no idea what size would fit but wont buy footwear from them again. Buyer beware.

I got these to replace a similar pair I had used for 7 years. The heals finally just started to wear out and frey. I like the fit and being able to slip them on to take the dogs out in the winter or rain without worrying about my feet getting wet. They grip pretty well even on ice, but I usually add yak trax to them to be safer.

Needs break-in period. Tough to put on, but comfortable after break-in.

Very comfortable after the first wearing. Warm for cold feet like mine. Stylish even to wear out for dinner.

The shoes are comfortable. My problem is that they are not stain resistant. I have a stain on my shoe from an unknown source. I had a virtual chat with a so-called product specialist on how to remove the stain. Besides recommending wiping with a damp cloth he had no idea how to treat it.

Otherwise a beautiful product, were impossible to put on without a long shoehorn. The opening is too tight. Perhaps to protect from ice, etc, but hard to put on and not really comfortable.

I used to have a pair of these that I wore for years until they wore out but the new design is anything but "slip on". The collar is so tight I can barely get my feet into the shoe, even using a shoe horn. I even tried a size up from my usual but I still couldn't get my feet into them. I loved the old winter sneakers, which were truly slip on. Sorry to see them go.

It took both hands and a shoe horn to get my foot into this shoe. Not what you'd expect in a "slip-on" shoe. I expected a slip-on like my storm chasers. I've had four pairs of them in the last 20 years, two of which are still going strong. I can get into them without using any hands and certainly don't need a shoe horn.

Almost impossible to slip on. Saw that on other reviews but thought I would try them. This design needs to be fixed

Impossible to put on, the foot opening is to narrow and the heel squishes down. Purchased a shoe horn to try to make the shoe fit. Exhausting and frustrated experience so I returned them.

These were too tight and hurt the top of my feet after about 5 min wearing them indoors. I had to return them for the lace up version.

the snow sneaker 5 seems like a well made shoe, however I cannot speak to its fit. I did purchase the shoe 1 whole size larger than needed to allow for wear with medium weight wool socks. when I went to put my shoe on it was nearly impossible with a light weight wool sock. the collar of the shoe is stiff and very very narrow, I did get it on with force and a shoe horn, once on it did fit loose, this does tell me that the collar is undersized and would wear uncomfortably

They seemed to be used. They were dirty and poorly packaged. Can't believe they sent these.

I've been wearing 10.5 for 40 plus years so that's what I ordered. I could not get my foot into these under any circumstances. I chose to return instead of exchange because I had no clue if I needed to go up a half or whole. I'm also kinda ticked I have to pay to return something so obviously smaller than standard.

$6.50 for a return is ridiculous.
I won't order from them again due to the return policy

Calling these "slip on" is an exaggeration! They do not "slip on" even though I ordered them wider than I needed. In addition, when I try to use the loop to pull them on, the loop is too small for my finger, and I am NOT a large person or have large hands. So every time I put them on, I'm annoyed twice - once when my foot won't go in, and second when I have to fuss with the loop to get my finger in. If the rear of the shoe was stiffened, this might not be a problem, but as it is, the top half (where the loop is attached) folds over easily. I also have the higher version Velcro closing snow sneakers and they are easier to put on than these.
They seem warm, but maybe because I ordered wide, they don't feel very robust...more like bedroom slippers.

I am unable to get my foot in the shoe. The stretch material is too small.
I have 5 LlBean shoes & boots; this is a great disappointment! A winter shoe like this needs more flexibility

My husband needed a wide shoe and that is what I ordered and received. The shoe was indeed wide however the opening was very very narrow and he couldn't slide his foot through. We had to return them. Comment to the manufacturer: a very narrow opening doesn't make sense for a wide shoe.

Sizing on this and the first shoe I ordered (I think it was a storm chaser) was too large in the heel. After the first shoe, I was told this one had a smaller heel, but it was the same. Very sloppy in the heel. So, I spent $13 to return the shoes. Had the representative not advised that this shoe would be a better fit, I would not have had to spend the $6.50 again for the 2nd return.

Highly disappointed in this shoe. I have 2 pair of snow sneaker lace up and love them. The opening on the shoe was extremely small.very hard to put on and very uncomfortable once on(too tight). And disappointed that i had to pay $6.95 to return a faulty product.
