Have never written a review before; honestly, I did not want to waste my time. However, as these shoes as so good, I felt the need to do so. Versatile, the best way to describe.

The materials of construction and the quality of the shoe was quite good. The fit was perfect for my narrow foot and the length was just right. The shoes were comfortable for the easy strolling I normally do.

Great comfortable lightweight sport shoe. I was looking for a casual lightweight shoe for sport wear and this one fit the bill perfectly. I looks great.

I wore these right out of the box for three weeks straight. Super comfortable, no blisters, no break in period. I am buying a second pair I like them that much. Just wore them for a week in France on vacation where we walked over 8 miles a day. My feet feel 100% fine! Love these trail runners but they are perfectly fine for walking as well as running and look great too.

Incredibly comfortable. Fits like a glove, good support and great cushion with every step. If shoe proves to be durable, I will probably purchase another pair.

They fit me fine. I have narrow feet. Comfortable and easy for walking and hiking. We were hiking on a rather rocky area. Some areas had no dirt and it was only rocks and these were fine for that type of hike. I have not tried these for running.

We took the grand kids to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. I knew we would be doing a lot of walking on concrete so I ordered new shoes. After ten hours on the concrete my feet were tired but they did not hurt. I really noticed the great cushioning in the arch area of these shoes. I had bought a pair of the hiking boots previously and that prompted me to buy a pair of the shoes. The Elevation shoes are very light weight and you feel the comfort with every step. Great foot wear if you do a lot of walking.

These shoes are the perfect summertime walking/recreation shoes. Airy and comfortable yet supportive and durable. I also like the grip texture of the soles-had the run through a torrential rain storm and never lost a step!

These shoes are very comfortable. The traction is great. The ventilation keeps my feet cool, even in hot weather.

Great shoe, comfortable for all day use, fits true to size. Just the right amount of support for trail hiking or pavement walks. Only one complaint, sliding on the shoe is impossible without unlacing as the tongue will not stay put and rides down into the shoe.

Excellent shoes. Plenty of cushion, good light weight. Only criticism is that shoes could use a little stiffer support.

Overall, I like the shoe. It is light weight and comfortable. They provide good support. I have used it flat, fairly level trails. I don't think the tread pattern lends it to be worn on rocky or aggressive trail hikes. They are not waterproof so that also limits it where it can be worn. I bought them knowing there would be applications where they would not be my first choice. Like any hiking shoe or boot there is not one that is good for every situation in my opinion.

I like the lightweight construction. And the sole is solid with a lot of support. Unfortunately, LL Bean's shoes in general are narrow. And they don't offer a wide width in this model. So like a number of other LL Bean shoes, I'll be returning them

...BUT they are extremely difficult to put on. The aglet barely fits through the eyelet...and once in, the thickness of the lace prevents it from sliding easily...it is a detriment to ease in putting the shoes on or taking them off...a ridiculous design oversight.. i simply cut the laces short and only use the other four pairs of lace loops.

I have worn Bean's shoes as far back as I can remember. The main reason is the fit. If it's a 10D, I'm good to go. Not with these, however. Found them a little tight in both the length and the width, so I returned the for a wider width and a half size longer, which I also do with New Balance shoe. They now have the feel that I have always expected from LL Bean.

These sneakers are great for when we travel and go from city walking to trekking up a trail during the same excursion.

I got these for my husband. He loves them and says they are very comfortable but has mentioned that while they are a great shoe for walking on pavement, he can feel every rock when we are hiking.

SHoes are nice and light but I felt like they needed to offer more support.
