Since I can't wear shoes that don't lace up, due to the effects of polio (pre-vaccine), I have always had difficulty finding comfortable slippers. These shoes are light enough and comfortable enough to serve as house shoes, in lieu of slippers.

Well made, fit fine. Had to replace my old mocs and shoes.

My old slippers and moccasins were worn through. These, and the leather mocs are great.

These shoes are like wearing slippers. And they look kind of cool too. Great for wide feet.

Cooler looking than they are comfortable. Not that they are uncomfortable, but just not as comfy as other sneakers I've worn. Maybe a little more cushioning? Regardless, as I type this review they are on my feet...

I wanted a nice comfy shoe for around my house and this shoe was perfect for that. O do not like the insoles, as they are spongy, so I simply swapped them out for a better isole...problem solved. I do think they run a tad big, but I normally wear barefoot shoes so the extra space in the toes is very appreciated...

I've worn these every day for 6 months, lightly. So comfortable but disappointed the fabric is splitting along the crease lines. For this reason won't purchase again

The rating of this shoe really depends on what you are looking for. I bought this shoe as a slipper for around the house. The shoe has breathable fabric for ventilation. I like the rubber-like toes because my sneakers always seem to come apart at the toes. The shoe doesn't have much support and the sole is very flat (but that is the style, these are not running shoes). The Men's size 7.5 Medium fit fine and were true to size. I don't like the logos on the tongue and heel, but I am not wearing them out in public. I have only worn them a few weeks, so we will see how they hold up. I don't like the light-cream-colored toes and sole, because they are getting stained with dirt, but I am hoping that the dirt stains will become uniform.

These are the perfect shoe to pair with Cresta shorts because the laces refuse to stay tied. Bending over to retie them dozens of times a day will give everyone a chance to see how those Cresta Hiking Shorts accent your backside.

Would be a great shoe without the weird loops. Just why?

This is a very lightly built shoe, comfortable, yet not sturdy for walking on uneven ground or for long periods of time. The toe box is wide--roomy, you might say--and not for those with narrow feet.

A good looking shoe but sadly not a for walking one. Surprisingly for the price there is no arch support or flat space cushion.

I bought them for the style and color. Unfortunately, the shoes have no arch support whatsoever, and I had to return them.

I'm a long time customer and have noticed quality declining over the years. These shoes are the worst example. I walk to and from work (2 miles each way). The rubber edges began separating form the cavas uppers almost immediately. After a couple months or so the uppers are fraying in multiple spots. (Yes I know about the return policy and I will return these shoes).

I don't like how ostentatious the LL Bean label is on its merchandise. These shoes would probably have been fine except that they had a large red manufacturers tag on the tongue that made shoes look like they belonged to a clown. What's more, LL Bean charged me to return the shoes. I have since purchased shoes from a competitor that offers free shipping AND returns.

Unfortunately, where the tongue is sewn to the vamp, the seam began to raise a blister on one of my insteps, so I had to return these shoes.
