These are extremely comfortable, but definitely follow the sizing suggestion of going up 1/2 a size as the fit is tight compared to other sneakers. My only complaint is that, despite the mesh material, they do not breathe well at all.

First time I wore these shoes, I received a bunch of compliments. Even when I paid for them, the woman at the register mentioned how nice they looked. While they are made to take the elements, I am using them as office-wear or when we go out, they are that nice. My only complaint is that they fit a bit loose at the heel and are a little narrow.

Because of the difficulties with the other pair of shoes I purchased together with these, I have opten NOT to use them. I may return them because they are also size 12-D.

The heel has a join in the material part way up the heel. It caused painful blisters on both feet. I'll try them again after blisters heal and hope it's just 'break-in' that goes away

As multiple people have noted they run a little small. They look more comfortable than they are. They are not Hoka substitutes that is for sure.

I wear 10 1/2 E. I got the 11. One fits fine, the other is tight in the big toe. I kept them, because the soles have tons of cushion. Instead of my knees hurting from walking in boots, my toe hurts in these. Having to wear the thinnest socks I own.

The shoes are uncomfortable. They rub my upper toes. The material is rigid and stays so after 1 month.

This is a great looking shoe that seems to be very well constructed. It was comfortable for the first couple of weeks and then the right shoe began shifting while I was walking. I've tried using thicker socks but have now developed a blister on the right heel. I'm going to give this another week and may end up sending them back.

The Good: nice looking; sole provides good cushioning The Reservations: material is stiff, not supple; questionable breathability I usually wear a 10 1/2, ordered 11, too snug. Exchanged for 11 1/2, should have gone up to a 12.

The sneakers are difficult to get on and lace up. Once on and laced they are comfortable. I like wearing them.

I returned my first pair as they were too short even though I added a half size to my usual. Reordered even larger as I liked the look and they seemed well made except the length. But still too short. I give up!

I bought a size 10.5 and it was too close at the toes and I changed it for a size 11 and it is still not that comfortable

These shoes look nice, but the design of the back is off. They gave my husband horrible blisters on his ankles so they are really unwearable.

I bought these because they were only $49.99 and the reviews were decent, but I should have known better based on the discount. There is 2 things that make theses shoes unwearable. One can be fixed and the other is the reason I sent them back. The fixable: the shoelaces are so short it was tough to tie them up. The unfixable: the tongue on these sneakers is thin and stiff. From my first step they started digging into the front of my ankles. It only took five steps for me to pack them back up for return.

Unfortunately these sneakers have a design flaw on the back of heels. After taking them for a couple of miles they caused blisters. I will try to return them

I could not fit my feet into these shoes even though I wear size 10 med. shoes in all my other shoes, including golf shoes. One of the biggest problems was the insert in the shoes that was easily taken out! No luck with the fit though. The shoes were returned that day to the ll Bean store at Pike and Rose. I'll try next year!!!

I bought these expecting a lightweight, comfy summer-weight shoe. I ordered the same size and width that I normally wear (including for several other LLB shoes). But these feel tight and uncomfortable in the toe box and across the front slope of the foot (under the lacing area), while also feeling loose and "slippy" at the heel. Also, they're way too warm for a lightweight shoe. They should feel light on your feet and breathable, but, alas, no. I tried them three times the course of a couple of days, wearing normal-weight socks underneath -- once lounging around the house, once on for a two-hour meeting at the office, and then again for an early morning walk. No dice, they remain very uncomfortable.
