This is the perfect overshirt for early fall weather (50-65) in MN. It's comfortable and cozy.

First off, I bought the Emerald Spruce and oh my goodness the colors are absolutely beautiful!! The material seems strong/rugged but soft and cozy at the same time. Size....if I buy a Medium in LL Bean their shirts are usually fitted on me, if I buy a Large in LL Bean they are usually more comfy and roomy. After reading reviews that this fits slightly large I went with the medium and I'm so glad I did, it's not fitted nor is it sloppy, it's just right. I will definitely be buying another one of these! LL Bean I'm a 45 year old hiker/outdoor gal that loves your clothing..how do I become an ambassador for your gear?!?! PLEASE!!!

Absolutely enjoy this shirt! For cool or cold weather it's warm and offers an extra layer for layering.

Beautiful material and style. But I dislike your new sizing system. Terrible I cant figure out my size under your new labelling. I find it unconscionable that you made Women's into PLUS SIZES, But Miss is now called REGULAR? Whats that about? Catering to young crowd, saying all mature women are fat? Did you change the men's? Making teenager Regular and men's PLUS? Did you take away their gender names? Sizing way too small, the shape of your products does correlate to the old size designations. It isnt a straight forward substitute.

True to size. Colors are amazing. Fabric is a good weight; nice to layer. Love it!

Great in the picture, even prettier on my body. You can't see in the pic but there are subtle hues of dusty rose and yellow ochre (which btw goes really well with my apple cider cords. I also bought the burgundy thermal henley to go with it, fabulous! However, a little peeved that the thermal henley shirt was astoundingly thin and has synthetic in it. What's with that? The quality is slipping Bean! Please remove the synthetic horror from your clothing. It cheapens the item. These clothes are meant to last years, not a couple of seasons then on the garbage heap to take thousands of years to decompose.

Great product....as always......bought the barley colored tee shirt as well....had the pants in my wardrobe.......I'm ninety five.....and still know what I'm doing!!!!!!!!!!I've been a Bean girl forever!!!

This shirt is amazing. It's a nice weight and woven fabric for cooler weather. I purchased a small petite, I'm 5'3" 120 pounds, perfect fit.

So soft and comfortable. Perfect feminine fitnot to long or bulky.

This cotton is quality cotton, the fit is flattering, not too boxy. Perfect as the shacket everyone needs for fall, winter and spring. Love the color choices. So good I bought two. The green base fits ideal for me, I also got the blue, white, red and gold plaid in same size - it fits a tish bigger in the shoulders than green, but not enough for me to return/exchange.

True to size. Nice quality. Generous length sleeves and overall. Beautiful colors.

I get many compliments on the unusual color, washed orchid, very attractive. A much needed change to the usual same-old-same-old plaids. The fit is consistent with my other LL Bean clothing. Sleeves about 1" too long. Fabric is good feeling quality, somewhere between a flannel shirt and a jacket. Nice spring and fall weight for our northern NY climate.

Perfect mid weight. Perfect weave. Perfect comfort. The only thing I could suggest to do differently would be to make the sleeves half an inch longer. I bought two colors and prob more soon!!!

Fits well with tee shirt underneath, great for early Maine Fall temps

I'm 5'9", ~225lbs, pear-shaped. I often have trouble buttoning the very lowest button on a shirt or jacket, even if it's a little baggy in the chest and shoulders. That said, this shacket fits so well! I am between a 1x and 2x on the size chart, and went with the 2x. It's a great length, and I can button all of the buttons. The sleeves are more of a "bracelet length", but I anticipated this from previous reviews. They look fine buttoned at the wrist, or rolled up. I will definitely pick up a second one of these shirts!

This a warm, heavier weight shirt. Absolutely love this shirt. Keeps you warm on those cooler days.

This is such a pretty and comfortable overshirt that I am loving as a fall jacket. The quality is amazing also!
