I love the body of this sweatshirt, so soft and warm and cozy. It's a shame that the sleeves fall short of the rest of the garment. They are not lined and therefore are not warm, nor soft, nor cozy. Since arms get colder faster than the body's core it seems poorly thought out. The cuffs are also quite loose allowing wind and cold air into the sleeves. The garment description is not as clear about the lack of sleeve lining as it should be. It is mentioned but not prominently. Pity, as otherwise this would be an amazing sweatshirt and I would have certainly purchased more in a few other colors. The price point is too high to have such inferior sleeves.

After constantly stealing my husband's Katahdin Iron Works Hooded Fleece Lined sweatshirt, I went searching for a women's version. Since there is no Katahdin Iron Works Women's sweatshirt, I selected this instead. It is a really nice product but I truly hate the unlined sleeves. The taffeta lining in the men's Katahdin shirt makes it so much easier to put on.

The color of my hooded sweatshirt is just what I expected. The lining in the body of the sweatshirt will keep me warm. However, my previously purchased Sherpa lined sweatshirt, which I wore for years, included a warmer lining in the sleeves. I was disappointed that this model's lining for the arms does not add a layer of warmth!

A nice warm cozy sweatshirt. I would have given it a 5 star, but the sleeves don't have the sherpa lining and my arms could use it too. I got the gray. Nice color that goes with everything.

Its a mid-weight swearshirt so its warm. I wear it a lot. Very comfortable. Like the pockets in front. Its well made.

Very nice hoodie, but it would be nicer if the sleeves also were sherpa lined. The Petite XS was the perfect fit for me, so thanks for Petite sizes LL Bean!

I bought this as a gift. I needed to return it because it was too small. She had ordered a jacket prior that fit nicely from LL Bean. I ordered her the same size, but this hoodie seems to run small.

I like it! I do wish the sleeves were line too though

While I love this hoodie and the fabric and fleece are so soft and beautiful, there is an issue with the hood. The construction of the hood causes the seams of the hood to pucker. Please fix this problem as I would like to have the hoodie in many colors but the hood does not lay flat and the puckering seams cause it to need improvement. Thank you very much. I love your products.

My only complaint is that I wish it had longer sleeves. It seems to fall 2in away from my wrist and I prefer anything with long sleeves to hit on the wrist and even onto my palm. The fleece is soft and snuggly and the color is nice. The color I wanted was out of stock but I'm happy with the one I got. Overall nice and warm for winter

Nice color, soft cozy fabric, warm and comfortable and functional for casual outdoor activities in North Carolina winter.. Based on other reviews I ordered a size large instead of my usual medium. If I had it to do over I would order medium instead of large. But the large fits well enough so I will keep it and enjoy it's warmth this winter. I am 5.7 & weigh 146lbs.

This is the second one that I purchased and love everything about it. The fit is perfect and the fleece lining is warm and washes well with a secure metal zipper. It would be nice if there were more color selections, otherwise a great choice for colder weather when warmth is essential. It has a really nice hoodie that keeps out wind and cold during our New Hampshire winters. Highly recommend.

Nice material wife just didn't like the color even though she likes green. I also got petite because she's 5-1 but for her the arms were too short. Also bought her another in plaid(different type) we returned it for the size waiting on getting it back. Love LLBean stuff I've had clothes for years from them because the quality is so good it just lasts.

Warm, soft and comfortable. However, after awhile, the zippers become 'askew'.

Nice hoodie but no stretch in wrists so you can't really pull your sleeves up.

Purchased this for a friend who feels cold due to a medical condition. Color and fit were great. The big disappointment was that the fully lined Sherpa wasn't fully lined. The sleeves had no sherpa, just fabric. Had I known this at the time, I would have purchased a diffent item for her.

This is very cozy to lounge around in, but the sleeves are very short and also tight, and I have slender arms. I usually wear a small and purchased a medium in this case.

Nice hoodie. Would be a lot better without the LL Bean logo on it. I do not like to dress like a billboard. Why does LL Bean think Logo on their clothing is a good thing?

This hooded sweatshirt is lined in the body, not in the arms. It runs large and seems very warm. The reason for four stars is because of the price.

This is my second of these hoodies. The first one lasted about 18 years. I wear my hoodie everyday in the house in the winter. My first hoodie finally wore out in the elbows but the rest of the hoodie was really fine. People have complained about not lining the sleeves. This does not bother me at all. What does bother me is that the pockets don't zip closed....there is no zipper. I put things in my pockets. My phone has nearly fallen out many times. Come on L L Bean put zippers on the pockets. For the price it would be a nice gesture. I hope my new hoodie has the very long and eventful life my last one did.

Just right to ward off the chill of the spring and fall seasons. It matches a lot of colors.

Not as warm as my daughter had wanted, especially in the sleeves. Returned.

Nice and warm. I have some difficulty completing the zipping, because the zipper "hangs up" halfway, up. I am able, finally, to zip it all of the way.

If it weren't for the cooler unlined sleeves, I would have rated this jacket as a five star. I'm a bit disappointed in the color. I thought it would be a more cheerful cranberry tint - but it's rather somber. However, it's a keeper because I love how soft and warm it feels when I'm wearing it and the hoodie feels so nice and handy when the wind picks up!
