Warm, cozy, beautiful colors! What's not to love! Fits perfectly and keeps you snuggly warm

Really warm for an underlayer. And a great gift purchase.

The only thing better than owning a mountain classic windproof fleece is owning two of them. This is my second one, as I fell in love so dearly with the first. On cold New England mornings walking the dog or as an insulating midlayer, it truly does cut the wind drastically. It also is not stiff as reported in some other reviews. It does not have as much give as your traditional fleece, it is by no means stiff. By far one of my favorite Bean fleeces I own.

Just the right weight for light windy days, which we get a lot of here in Pahrump, NV. Excellent quality, well made.

I love this windproof fleece. It has kept me nice and warm during the fall cool snaps we've had so far. I work at a university and have to walk a lot to and from where I park and it has been great for getting me to and from from work in the cool weather while feeling good. I ordered a size small and it fits comfortably and true to size.

I am pleased with this jacket. I am 5-4", 160 lbs, evenly proportioned and purchased a large size. Some of the reviews called the jacket "stiff", but I did not find that to be so for me. If you are looking for a soft, unlined fleece material, this is not it. If you are looking for a more windproof fleece material, you have found it, without a heavy weight. It is true to size and I can wear a long-sleeve heavy tee type shirt underneath. Most women probably could not fit a sweater comfortably underneath without sizing up. So, the term "windproof" probably has some limitations when temperatures are below freezing and windy and you can't layer much underneath. Then, it's parka time. I think the only possible improvement would be a hood. The pockets fit a phone. I personally find the chest pocket useless, but it does not detract from the nice style of the jacket.

This is one of the rare jackets that I have found to be windproof without the plastic crinkle sound that accompanies most windproof jackets. Because it's a fleece-like material, it immediately feels warm as opposed to waiting for an inner plastic liner to warm to my body temperature. The sizing is more of a "shell" outer layer and does not sit close to the body. It can easily be layered over a medium layer (such as a thick sweater). I have worn it with just a plain T-shirt and been comfortable in 50-degree weather with plenty of wind. I do wish there was a way to tighten the wrists but the sleeves are long enough that I can pull them over my hands to shut out any drafts.

This fleece jacket is perfect for the "shoulder season" of the fall. Cool winds blow now and the protection in the jacket makes a big difference in my comfort outside.

I love it. It is warm without being bulky. I like the detail being different from most fleece. I have gotten many compliments on it.

PS appears to be true to size (5' 3", 118-120 lbs, athletic frame). I have longer arms for most petite clothings ( for reference, petite long sleeves in s or m sit 1-2" above my wrists). Those sleeves lay right at my wrists. I got the lavender blue, which was a beautiful color. The zipper pockets are nice. As to the fabric, like some reviewers said it is a bit stiff and light weight, but the weave is made to block the wind. I am not sure the fabric textur gets softer as it gets washed in the washer over time. The length is long enough to cover the whole hips. I retuned it only because I wanted a lighter and softer jacket (for the South).

My wife loves it. Blocking the wind makes her so much more comfortable on autumn days. She doesn't need the layers she used to.

I love that LL Bean offers petite sizes for outerwear. I'm 5'2 and an athletic 150lbs and can't find outerwear that fits well. The quality of the jacket is amazing, including the fabric and stitching.

I'm 5'0" tall, 110 lbs. Ordered a PS size and it fits well, even over a heavy shirt. I've worn it on walks and it really does break the wind. Ordered it in white and have not laundered it yet. So far, love this jacket.

I like the design and fit. Warm jacket for windy and cool weather conditions. My previous one is still good. Just wanted another color.

LOVE this jacket! It is super soft and has just the right amount of warmth. It has a flattering fit and great pockets. LLBean has come through again!

Wore this for a hike on the cliffs of Yesnaby, Orkney Island, Scotland. Bought for the trip, kept me warm and cozy every day despite the wind and chilly temperatures. It will become a winter wardrobe staple here at home in the Bay Area of California. Looks great, too! Love it!

Just received this Jacket and it's 100+ degrees here at present time - so can't comment on the warmth factor or durability - though first impressions are that it seems well made and perfect for my needs. What's really striking, is the beauty and fit of this jacket. I ordered the light blue and it's gorgeous - great pockets - and the fit is ultra flattering. I typically order a large in jackets, as I like a loose fit;however, I took a chance and ordered the petite medium. The body fit is perfect, but the sleeves are just slightly long on me. Not a deal breaker though - sleeves always tend to be too long for me. For fit reference I am 5'3 & 130 pounds.
