This jacket was exactly what I needed for cool, windy weather. It's going traveling with me.

Perfect! For my high altitude hiking in Colorado!

I have not had a chance to wear the coat. Our weather has to get colder before I will be able to get the full filling of the coat.

I read everything the item said, and I thought this could be the perfect weight for work, it is comfortable, fits great, not too warm and definitely not too cold, I am now nice and warm at work, as the doors open and shut

I love this jacket. Not meant for a cold winter day, but perfect down to around 30 degrees. It really is windproof. I originally bought the light blue but sent it back because it had a very difficult zipper. I later bought the dark blue. The zipper is heavier duty and works great.

Friendly sales staff that really are familiar with their products make the ordering process so easy. Best of all , my wife loves the jacket.

A bit premature to really rate this item - Christmas gift that is under the tree as I fill this in. But, if it is greeted with as much enthusiasm as last years gift from LL Bean, it will be a 5 Start fit!

This has been my go-to since I bought it last year. It's cozy material, feels softer than other wind proof similar jackets. Well constructed, long enough to cover the hips (I'm long waisted). I am 130 lbs and 5'5 and the medium works for me. My husband also has one and loves it. I'd buy a second one in a different color, but not crazy about the choices. I have the black and it goes with everything. Zippered pockets, love this. And yes, the windproof aspect really works. Most polar fleece lets the wind cuts right through it. 100% adore this jacket.

I use this warm fleece jacket far more than I expected. It is much warmer than any fleece jacket have had. It is comfortable and I appreciate the extra room it has. I don't find it "noisy" at all which some reviewers have complained about. It is about 2" longer than most jackets and this is another reason why I like it. I love the zippered pockets. Although I am tall with long arms, the sleeves are too long on even on me. I wouldn't be able to shorten them so I just fold them over. I expect to use the jacket often this winter.

The only thing better than owning a mountain classic windproof fleece is owning two of them. This is my second one, as I fell in love so dearly with the first. On cold New England mornings walking the dog or as an insulating midlayer, it truly does cut the wind drastically. It also is not stiff as reported in some other reviews. It does not have as much give as your traditional fleece, it is by no means stiff. By far one of my favorite Bean fleeces I own.

I love this windproof fleece. It has kept me nice and warm during the fall cool snaps we've had so far. I work at a university and have to walk a lot to and from where I park and it has been great for getting me to and from from work in the cool weather while feeling good. I ordered a size small and it fits comfortably and true to size.

I am pleased with this jacket. I am 5-4", 160 lbs, evenly proportioned and purchased a large size. Some of the reviews called the jacket "stiff", but I did not find that to be so for me. If you are looking for a soft, unlined fleece material, this is not it. If you are looking for a more windproof fleece material, you have found it, without a heavy weight. It is true to size and I can wear a long-sleeve heavy tee type shirt underneath. Most women probably could not fit a sweater comfortably underneath without sizing up. So, the term "windproof" probably has some limitations when temperatures are below freezing and windy and you can't layer much underneath. Then, it's parka time. I think the only possible improvement would be a hood. The pockets fit a phone. I personally find the chest pocket useless, but it does not detract from the nice style of the jacket.

This is one of the rare jackets that I have found to be windproof without the plastic crinkle sound that accompanies most windproof jackets. Because it's a fleece-like material, it immediately feels warm as opposed to waiting for an inner plastic liner to warm to my body temperature. The sizing is more of a "shell" outer layer and does not sit close to the body. It can easily be layered over a medium layer (such as a thick sweater). I have worn it with just a plain T-shirt and been comfortable in 50-degree weather with plenty of wind. I do wish there was a way to tighten the wrists but the sleeves are long enough that I can pull them over my hands to shut out any drafts.

This fleece jacket is perfect for the "shoulder season" of the fall. Cool winds blow now and the protection in the jacket makes a big difference in my comfort outside.

I love it. It is warm without being bulky. I like the detail being different from most fleece. I have gotten many compliments on it.
