I have two sweater fleece jackets, (and have given at least three as gifts to family), but it doesn't cut the wind. I tried this windproof fleece. PERFECT. Yes, the fabric feel is a bit different than the other. But it's all I need down to a windy 45. Sat on the windy top deck while cruising down the Rhine River, and with a scarf and gloves, I was perfectly happy. As a bonus, the chest pocket is a great place to stash all sorts of things. I will soon purchase another color. Petite is perfectly sized for me.

This is a nice jacket. I bought the black one and it fits great. It's lightweight but perfect for Fall.

this jacket is warm and its a bonus that it is also a windbreaker. It also layers nicely under a raincoat shell.

I love the neutral color and it's nice and warm and cozy.

Windproof jacket really works. This is my four such jacket. It is great for watching outside sports on a windy field.

I love this windproof mountain fleece jacket. It is very comfortable and lightweight. It keeps me snuggly warm even in 40 degree weather. I have a collection of LL Bean mountain classic fleece and have bought my 13 year old grandson all colors of the same fleece. You don't need to wear a sweatshirt or sweater under this fleece. This fleece will keep you warm. I recommend this fleece to everyone. It's definitely worth the price.

This is a great jacket, like a thick fleece, that repels the wind. The navy is a lovely dark blue. I bought a large but should have got a medium instead as the large is a bit too roomy.

Feels great, kept me warm but not too hot, gtood for cool summer evenings - wore it at the car concours in Monterey where it is always cool andd foggy - was perfect.

I love the texture of this! And the fact that this fleece jacket is wind proof is amazing. Will wear this one to the death.

Im waiting on the hooded version of this. Bit surprised that the windproof doesn't include the hood?

I purchased this windbreaker fleece for a cruise on the Great Lakes in July. Purchased a large. The fit was perfect and the fabric blocked the winds as promised. Early mornings and nights on Lake Superior were chilly with lows in the upper 50's with eind. This fleece did a superb job blocking wind and providing warmth.

Warm and fits snugly Worn on plane to and from vacation in a warm locale. It was perfect on the plane and comfortable in tight seating. It also does not show dirt in this color.

This jacket exceeded all my expectations! First off, it's so cute! Second, I went to Iceland to hike and the weather can be very windy, this jacket is totally windproof and worked so well, exactly what I was looking for. And, it's super comfy. Love love love it!

I love this jacket. In NE Ohio in the snowbelt we often have the equivalent of weather on an island. And I am in my 70s and perpetually cold most of the time. At 5'3 and 130 lbs I normally wear a L. L. Bean "small," but ordered the "medium" because I want the option to layer a sweater and a vest under it come fall and winter. It fits perfectly for this kind of layering. Note that I find the sleeves about an inch long in medium, but easily folded them back with no loss to the attractive appearance. It was blessedly warm on a recent 42-degree day, and I know I will find the windproofing a boon this winter. I appreciate the warmth of completely fleece lined interior, including the sleeves. And the chest pocket--I love and seek outerwear that has them--which I value for its roominess for a cell phone, readers, & folding money. The material is soft, with a gridded texture. It's just a great, attractive cold-weather find!

Nice jacket! I wore it on a windy day outside & it definitely stops the wind! Jacket itself feels soft to the touch but has a little firmer feel when worn.

Love this jacket, but not quite as windproof as stated in the description. Wish it had inside pockets.

I expected this to be boxy but was pleasantly surprised with its slightly fitted shape. It was just enough to be a little feminine which I appreciate.

Stylish, well made .I give it 4**** because the sleeves are narrow, only a T shirt, no sweater, can fit in. It is a L Regular. If I go a size up the sleeves may become too long etc. The fit is nice. I would not call this a jacket. It seems to be more like a sweater / cardigan with pockets. The jacket fits me perfectly but the sleeves should have more room to allow a sweater as well. Nice, but frankly do not see myself in New England Fall season hiking with only this "jacket" . Could be nice to walk an evening along the beach late summer maybe. Will keep it . I rarely buy online for that reason.
