This is a Christmas present for my wife, but my daughter loves it

Quite warm and definitely windproof, although the color is different than what is shown online or in the picture.

I usually wear a small in LLBeans women's tops but usually need a medium in their jackets and coats. Love the fit of this jacket especially for my daily walks. Great for mild to brisk weather and great for layering on slightly colder days. I usually wear a small in LL Bean women's tops but I for some reason or another are more comfortable in a size Medium in all of their jackets. The zippered slash pockets at the side of the coat plus the zippered pocket on the left breast offer ample storage for phone or anything else you take with you. Very pleased with this purchase.

Windproof FLEECE!!! Perfect alone and for layering under a down jacket. I love this jacket and highly recommend.

This is the second Mountain Classic Windproof Fleece Jacket that I've purchased, but in the dark blue. These jackets are warmer than the standard fleece sweater due to its wind breaking capabilty and yet it has breathability. This is very beneficial when you are being active so that you don't overheat. I like the color and wear it around town. The high collar also helps keep the heat in.

Perfect coat for Texas winter. Great for dog walks by the lake when it's windy and 40 degrees, I wore it everywhere for a month, now I'll bring it to Maine when I visit in early Spring.

I just got to wear this jacket for the first time where it warmed up. Love it! I especially love the color which will go with everything I wear.

Fabulous, warm and blocks the wind. I wear this dog training and as my last layer underneath my -40 F coat.

I owned this jacket in a different size for over a decade and loved it--perfect for cooler autumn and spring weather. It really is windproof and water resistant (but I would not wear it in a steady rain). But since it no longer fit me, I was happy to see LL Bean carried it again and bought it in my current size. It's as good as I remember it and should last me at least a decade again.

Like the cut and fit so much I bought a second one.

Nice style, and features. I chose the "Nautical Navy", which is a nice shade of navy. I use it by itself for outdoor walks; and also use it for layering under my parka on very cold days & evenings.

I purchased the Nautical Navy color, and find the jacket to be a style. I live on the coast where it can be chilly and windy. I wear it frequently. I'm very happy with my jacket, and highly recommend it.

My mom loved it. The color was perfect and the fit was spot on.

Wonderful and warm jacket. Soft with flattering silhouette. It is fairly windproof but does make a crinkle sound as you move about. Not terribly loud to me but may be a deal breaker for some. Love the periwinkle color. Origjanlly purchased reg XL but returned for Petite XL which fit me better in sleeve and torso. Recommend.

I am very happy with this warm fleece. I live in Alaska, so having a warm jacket or having a fleece to wear under my outer jacket is important. As far as sizing goes: I am 5'10" and weigh 145. I have very long arms and broad shoulders. The Large was an excellent fit. A bonus is the periwinkle color, which is very pretty.

Javier is great for fall and spring. Love the side pocket on top left. A little snug, order a bit bigger but beware of arm length.

This is a very nice jacket. I bought the navy and it's a true navy color. The fabric is a little stiffer than a normal fleece jacket but I believe that's because of the wind proof feature. It's not so stiff as to be uncomfortable at all. I would say this jacket fits true to size. I read some reviews that complained of the sleeves being too tight so I ordered a medium though I normally am a small. I wish I had ordered the small as the medium is definitely big on me. I decided to keep it rather than exchange and it doesn't look bad especially once I pinched in the bottom elastic a bit. I have plenty of room for multiple layers underneath which is nice. The sip pockets are good size and overall I'm very happy with this. I'm not sure how wind proof it truly as I was still cold on a windy day. (But I'm always cold). If this jacket goes on a good sale I will get another one in my normal size small.

Great jacket. Really like the wind blocking and and find it a medium for warmth. I purchased it as a layering piece and so glad I did! I am on the upper side of large and hate clingy arms so I sized up to the XL and thought it was too large at first but with a sweatshirt or sweater it is perfect. I prefer a looser fit doing chores/errands anyhow for the movement. Washes and dries w/ out pilling (so far only 2 washes). Over a sweatshirt it's warm enough for the hockey rink. I plan to add another color as I love that it's spacious enough to layer but doesn't have bulk.

This jacket is my favorite. I have a black one. Would like to buy another. Do not like the color choices for women. How about a teal like the men's!!! Or a nice green or rust color. Some fall colors would be nice. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it.

Perfect mid weight jacket for the fall morning walks. Stops the cool wind yet breathes to keep you comfortable. Love the longer length as well, no cold drafts up the back.

Really love the feel of this jacket. Extremely comfortable. Wish they would add a hood.

I just wrote a review and wanted to mention that i purchased PETITE SMALL not a regular small and it fits me perfectly with room to spare, not tight. I've received compliments on the jacket already. OUTSTANDING purchase and well worth the money spent.
