Snug fit. I'm always a medium and there's not a lot of give in the fabric getting it in snd off. Very comfortable once it's on. Suggest sizing up.

Liked pattern, colors. Did not like standup neck - too tall for me and would not lay down. Disliked the prominent logo which stood out more than I expected. Disliked bands round wrists and bottom. They prevented material from laying flat. Regretfully returning.

I love the print and warmth of this pullover, but I hate the banding on the wrists and bottom of the shirt. One of the bands on the arm already is coming off after just a few wears. So disappointing! Otherwise, it's a really warm shirt.

This sweater is beautiful, comfortable, and cozy, but after a few washes (I've had it about a month) it's starting to pull badly on the front. There must be white threads woven into it because they are showing on the black checks. My sweater pill remover sadly doesn't work on this fabric. I would upload a picture as I could.

This runs small and it heavier then anticipated. It is not something I could wear inside as it is too heavy and uncomfortable. Not at all what I expected and am disappointed.

I ordered my usual size M but it is skin-tight, so it feels uncomfortable. I'm going to return it.

I didn't care for the material this pullover was made with. I was expecting a fleece but this is more like a polyester, "plastic" feel that I simply didn't care for. I returned the pullover. ***I DID like the fact the pullover had a zipper. I am definitely NOT a fan of the snap-front tops Bean is currently offering.

I returned this pullover. It was tight putting it over my head. The whole shirt did not seem wide enough to comfortably fit over my head and let my arms slide in. Then the feel of it was too polyester not soft like cotton. I liked the color and the print but I was disappointed.

Its a me issue,but if youre uses to their sweatshirts, this sweater is extremely itchy and rough

Beautiful sweater but oddly small compared to other LL bean items. Arms were short, overall length short. I felt like I was wearing a petite.

Print is pretty but this "sweater" fleece is not warm. I have a sweater fleece from a few years ago that is much thicker and significantly warmer. I wear it with a long sleeve shirt underneath. I guess if you intend to wear it where temperatures are 70 degrees or more you will be fine.

I love the look of the classic birds eye print. This fleece was uncomfortable- awkward to put on and take off as it runs small. It just feels bulky. I love LL Bean but I am returning this for a different fleece.

I love the look of this sweater. However, I ordered my regular size and it was snug. It is a beautiful sweater and very warm. Wish it had fit. some of the other reviews also said it was snug even upsizing

Disappointed with the fabric. Painted on white stitches instead of woven into fabric. Haha.. Not what I came to expect from LL Bean.

I really wanted to love this iconic navy blue nautical LLBean print pullover but the material was stiff not a soft fleece and arms were tight such that you would not be able to wear a tneck under it I have several LLBean zips and vest but this one the pocket design made it look dumpy. Bring this print style back as a zip vest and it will be a 5 star for sure. Unfortunately back it went.

This doesn't feel like a sweater or a fleece. It is the worst of both worlds. The fabric is stiff and scratchy. I love anything birds' eye patterned, but that is the only good thing about this fleece. The fabric was all wrong for the cut of the pullover- it was too stiff and heavy, so the seams feel bulky and don't move or lay right. The fabric was scratchy and oddly thick, and felt like it was hastily sourced from a factory without checking that it actually felt like sweater fleece material. It felt different from other LLBean sweater fleeces that we have in our house, and it wasn't worth keeping it and washing it in the hopes it would become softer or more flexible. I was disappointed in this fleece because even though the fit and the style were cute, the fabric was so awful that I had to send it back.

Wanted to love this fleece but hated the fit. Snugger in the armpits than I like, and what's going on around the neck? Boxy fit so it felt snug in the armpits but loose in the hips.

First of all, I hate the stupid logo on the front. It sticks out like a sore thumb on the front of this top. I found this an odd fit on me. It's very straight and since I have broad shoulders, it was weird fitting in that area. The neckline is a bit too high for me as I don't like tight fitting garments around my neck as well. It just wasn't comfortable. Too bad as I love the buffalo check. This is going back.

I love the warmth, look and fit of this fleece but it is incredibly pilly. I returned it once and got a new one because I love it overall, but sadly this one is covered in "pill" too. I hope they can find a new fleece for this pullover!

The teal color pattern of this so-called "fleece" is what drew me to order it. It is made of the thickest, scratchiest, non-stretchy material I've ever felt in my life! I don't know what this sweater fleece is made of, but it does not feel like sweater or fleece material. This is a hard "no" for me.

I bought this and it pilled horribly after one day wash. It's very comfortable, fits great and who doesn't love Buffalo plaid? Disappointed as I wanted to love it and wear it for years to come.

Purchased the red wine color with white jersey binding at an outlet store. An older version than what is available at LLBean now.The red wine color turned the white binding around the neck and cuffs pink after getting it wet in the rain. Clearly another poor product at an expensive price. Will try to return it if I can. Very disappointed again!

Horrible fabric.. light weigh and scratchy...lt.feels like felt material. Fleece is not fleece.. Bringing back the old navy birdseye pattern is wonderful, but forgetting about quality is surprising for LLBean. If you're going to bring back a classic, have a little pride in the quality. Certainly NOT worth the price....by a long shot!!!

Poor quality! Fabric was rough to the touch and stiff. Returned for refund.
