A little pricey but that’s what happens when u let an eight year old pick out her shoes. As it turns out they are well worth the price. Well made, sturdy and better looking than the picture.oh, and also ‘very cool’ according to the young expert on that subject.

The shoes have endured daily use by my 4th grader for 10 months now; she loves them and wants the exact same style again when she needs to size up.

Perfect fit! These shoes do not disappoint!

Desert/beach dwellers beware! My 5 year-old daughter loved this shoe and, after a bit of learning how to work the dial (for all of us!), was happy in them. But as she wore them out and about here in New Mexico, sand and grit worked their way into the dial and now they are very difficult to open and loosen. Still great shoes in most ways, but the absolute wrong choice for sandy environs.

This is our fourth pair of these shoes for my daughter. We usually really like them and she wears them until they are worn out. This time, the back loop shredded after only a week of wear. I called about an exchange, but I was told that once they are worn more than twice, they can't be exchanged. Usually the quality of New Balance shoes is fantastic, pretty disappointed with this pair.
