This is an excellently engineered and constructed winter jacketlonger than most for an extra level of warmth in the "hip zone" and fits just snugly enough all over for optimum comfort in coldest weather. I don't want to say I am eager for winter temps, but I am ready for them!

Coat is true to size: I'm 5'2" and 104 lbs. Lots of nice features like the detachable hood and zippered pockets. Looking forward to cold weather when I can wear it!

This coat is very well made. The material is good and has a nice lining.

The jacket fits well, isn't too heavy, is the right length and weight and my favorite color of red.

Attractive color (red but not too bright). Warm but not too heavy. As someone noted the side pockets aren't very deep but the inner zipper pockets are clever for stashing keys or money safely. I'm very happy with this parka.

This is the nicest coat I've ever owned. It's well made, and I love the small details like the double pocket on the right side, and the inside breast pocket on the left. I would definitely recommend this coat.

Just the right coat for the very cold winter season this year. I like the longer length and the fit of the coat. The evening blue color is nice too.

Got this park for my sister for her birthday. She is 4'10." The petite small is absolutely perfect! She had specific requests.....a hood, zipper AND snaps, and cuffs at wrists. It fit the bill on all fronts and she loves it. In northwest PA, she will get a lot of use out of it.

I walk on a windy beach in winter and this jacket is perfect. The hood keeps my head toasty and the down filling is dense. The sales ladies who helped me on the phone did a great job!

This coat is really high quality and fits perfectly. The material is strong and looks like it will be durable over time. Better coat than a similar coat I had from another (similar) big name company.

I've been wearing this coat for 5 years and it's still very warm on the coldest of Vermont days. The two things I would love to change are a tighter inner sleeve instead of just the coat cuff, and a more secure outer pocket/ or larger inner pocket.

Warm but not bulky.coat itself is perfect with 2 outer and one inner pocket. Only disappointment continues to be to logo they seem to love placing on front. If you must advertise, could it be done in a more discreet way on sleeve? On hem? So many have made this same comment about coats, tops etc but it seems to fall on deaf ears

This has been a very cold, windy winter in Delaware. I did not go for my usual walks. My winter jackets were not warm enough. I searched many stores for warm coats. Only Bean designated warm, warmer and warmest coats. I wanted the warmest! This coat feels like a hug wjhen you are out on a cold windy day! It is well made I love it!

This is just the warm and cozy coat I was looking for! Fit true to size (I bought Medium for 140 lbs and 5ft 5 in ht) with room to layer. The snap-on hood adds warmth around my neck so I don't need a scarf. The mid-thigh length keeps me warm but doesn't get in the way of my knees on long walks!

I have two of these jackets, one in navy and the other green. Warm and comfortable and the top notch quality that LLBean is known for. I did size up one size only because I have fairly broad shoulders, I like to wear fluffy sweaters all winter long, and the shoulders would be too tight otherwise. These wash well and I throw them in the dryer with tennis balls to fluff. Thanks Bean for a great jacket!
