It was a gift for my sister. She is very pleased with the purchase. She likes the snaps but because she has rheumatoid arthritis they are a little difficult. She liked the coat well enough to keep the coat regardless.

Wonderful coat! Zipper is plastic and coarse feeling and pockets are a bit too low, but for the price it's awesome! The rust colored one online is more like a purple color in real life, but I like it. Good warm jacket. The inner zip pockets inside the button pockets are fab.

This parka is the best. Very warm, not heavy, adjustable drawstring in the waist, adjustable wrist, hood , length and the fit is perfect. I'm 180 and I took a large. There is plenty of room . Also the zippered pockets within the snap pockets give extra security. I love it!!!!

This coat is perfect. I live in MI where quality coats are a must and this product fits the bill! I am short (5'2") and opted for the petite size. I recommend any others 5'3" and under to do the same. It fits perfectly and is very flattering.

I'm really happy with this coat! I like how you can make the waist a bit more fitted if you want, plus the fit and quality are great. I wish it was just a little bit longer, but really no complaints. Also - I appreciate LL Bean offering so many of their products in petite sizes since most other retailers don't at all. This is one of the first coats I've owned that actually fits me like it should!

I absolutely love this coat. The inside of the coat allows you to loosen or tighten straps to make it tighter or larger. I wanted a coat that was warm, but not bulky and it fits BOTH of those categories. Just spend the money and go for it- you won't regret it:)

This parka is lightweight, not bulky like some down jackets, but very warm. In fact, it is warmer and less bulky than an old down parka of mine. It has a feminine shape without being tight. The hood is large enough to fit over a hat and is detachable. I like that the front hand warmer pockets have a second zipped pocket inside where I can keep valuables. There is also a zipped internal pocket. The length is perfect for me at a little above the knee, making it comfortable to sit in, plus it does have the two-way zipper, I am 5 feet tall, 98 pounds and I bought the extra small petite. The only negative is that I wish there was a soft lining around the neck area since the fabric of the outer layer feels cold against the skin when the parka is zipped all the way up. My easy solution is a scarf around my neck.

Very well made! Fits great and most importantly it keeps me very warm in the mountains!
